LGTL Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Anyone know how many tickets have been sold? I imagine the fact it's on BBC might keep a few away who otherwise would have attended. 10,000 apparently
davefoggy Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 I'd imagine it's because Bertrand provides a lot of danger going forward and Ralph's new system will rely heavily on attacking full backs. I also think Bertie will suit RaHa's style of play. Hope so anyway. Regarding tonight, surprised to see so many people putting Elyounoussi in their prospective teams. In every match he has had a chance to show what he can do he's offered nothing and not taken his chance. Don't see why he deserves another one tonight. Now go and watch him play a blinder. Bertrand never seems interested
Saints foreva Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 yeah, think on the whole the Mo signing had a positive vibe to him given he had success with Basel much like Mane did with Salzburg and we hoped he'd have the impact Mane did. Yet, whilst it hasn't come off yet, I'd still persist for a while yet hoping that Ralph is able to nurture him into an explosive winger You need pace to be an explosive winger. Mo is slow as ****.
OttawaSaint Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 This has the feel of so many Saints home replays against lower league opposition. Hope we don't blow this.
Suhari Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Bit of a 'hodge podge' team! But surely a strong enough spine to get the job done (now Shane has found his shooting boots).
Suhari Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Going with a back 4! Unless Ramsey takes a CB role, and JWP goes RWB?
Baird of the land Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 disappointed gallagher isn’t starting.
SuperSAINT Posted 16 January, 2019 Author Posted 16 January, 2019 Derby look like they've named a strong team.
LGTL Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Derby have gone for their strongest team apparently
jamesfp1 Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Odd lineup. Hope it works. Don't want to be embarrassed on the beeb.
ericb Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Be very lucky to win this based on that team selection. Gutted as i was well up for an away trip to Stanley.
LGTL Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Was well up for Accrington but feel we might blow it looking at the two lineups
SNSUN Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Looking forward to seeing what Johnson has to offer for the first time. Looks like a 4231 unless Moi is going to play as a striker. Personally think we have enough to get through tonight, especially with Redmond on the bench in case things go FUBAR, although that starting XI doesn't exactly scream GOALS! I wasn't too far off with my selection prediction. Shame not to see Gallagher start but I guess he's being eased back in.
beatlesaint Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 This has to be Moi’s last chance to impress surely ? He has up to now shown, umm, how can I put this ? Oh yeah - **** all !!
niceandfriendly Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 That's a team that could well lose. Bloody hell, going to be tough this. Come on Saints
niceandfriendly Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Bertrand never seems interested He wasn't interested under Pellegrino or Hughes that's for sure, and that doesn't speak well for his professionalism. However, when he's focused and playing well he is as good as we could possibly hope for at LB in my humble.
Badger Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 2-0 Derby imo. hope it's not made worse by the skate Mount scoring...
doddisalegend Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 What's the formation going to be with that team 4-3-3? Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
Baird of the land Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Is Johnson playing Left back like bbc are saying.
Hodgey Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Bit of a 'hodge podge' team! Steady on Suhari - what do you mean by that ;-)
Crab Lungs Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 He wasn't interested under Pellegrino or Hughes that's for sure, and that doesn't speak well for his professionalism. However, when he's focused and playing well he is as good as we could possibly hope for at LB in my humble. I’d say anyone would struggle to get motivated with that twerp Pellegrino in charge
egg Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Is Johnson playing Left back like bbc are saying. He can play left back so possibly.
patred44 Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 too many changes Saints 0 Derby 3, not happy
niceandfriendly Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Stream --> https://tvcatchup.com/watch/bbcone I’d say anyone would struggle to get motivated with that twerp Pellegrino in charge and I'd have to agree
Dalek2003 Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 too many changes Saints 0 Derby 3, not happy Well clearly the PL game on Sunday is more important. If we weren't on TV a defeat wouldn't matter so much.
Suhari Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Bit of a 'hodge podge' team! Steady on Suhari - what do you mean by that ;-)
Heisenberg Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Big Vesty showing his electric pace on the wing
eddie Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Stream --> https://tvcatchup.com/watch/bbcone and I'd have to agree You have my thanks! Great stream! Does it only have main channels, or SkySports etc. too?
adrian lord Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Are we playing behind closed doors? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
niceandfriendly Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 You have my thanks! Great stream! Does it only have main channels, or SkySports etc. too? Loads of channels on TvCatchup but not SkySports I believe. For other games Google "Reddit soccer streams" always good ones there.
egg Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Johnson looking half decent... diving is embarrassing though.
BoscombeScummer Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 There are only about five people in attendance. Ralph H has a bit of the Mark E Smiths about him. Very good.
egg Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 I'm very impressed with Johnson so far. Losing his head though. He's got another yellow card in him.
OttawaSaint Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Yellow for Johnson. Dove in to a challenge.
Sheaf Saint Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Losing his head though. He's got another yellow card in him. Yeah he went and did that the very instant after I posted that!
saint lard Posted 16 January, 2019 Posted 16 January, 2019 Ramsey and Johnson are so rash in making a challenge. Couple this with Valery at the weekend, these nippers need to be told prior and during the game to keep a level head. They also need to wise up a bit as to what opposition will do to wind them up. Its going to be costly unless they curb it a bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
