John Boy Saint Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 https://f1livegp.net/wp/whats-special-about-the-new-soccer-streams/ Cheers I’ll give it a spin at HT
OttawaSaint Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 Throw ins terrible again. No one makes a run, finds Romeu but puts it out.
Batman Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 As the tater said, defensively, this is miles miles better than usual Hudds down to 10 men. 1-1
St Marco Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 Thought we played okay that half. We didn't really try to attack but you can see our game plan is to frustrate them. And seems to be working. Just waiting for the bull**** ref call to give them something they don't deserve.
Manuel Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 Some organisation at least. Deep when needed, press when needed. Frustrating Chelsea. No shots on target though, only 1 for Chelsea I think. Second half beckons.
Suhari Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 Professional away performance so far. We look so much more organised and together than under The Clown or Hughes. Clearly need some more pace in the side though.
Colinjb Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 Yes, decent half. Want to see this resilience maintained for the next 48-49 minutes.
Cabbage_Face Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 Jwp outstanding that half, need to see more of this from him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jamesfp1 Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 Excellent defensive play so far. Just need to make it count when we get the odd break.
whelk Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 Would happily take more of same 2nd half. Concentrate boys. Nil nil would be a great result and boost.
DT Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 Job half done. Can’t get complacent. Good signs. Energy. Commitment. Redmond needs to be less headless Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pamplemousse Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 Defensively sensational stuff, haven't been this organised for a couple of seasons. Attacking wise we look a bit out of sorts, but hard to get it forward when so many are defending. Passing has still been lacklustre though
whelk Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 Just watching the Newcastle game at HT. They have some hard fixtures coming up.

Sheaf Saint Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 Ings needs to contribute more Not really had any decent service. Got his head onto one cross from Cedric but couldn't get it on target. Other than that, our numbers in defence mean we're losing out in midfield before we can even get the ball to him.
Cabbage_Face Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 Bournemouth game is a right old ding dong. Luckily I put a cheeky ton on both teams to score 3 by half time. Textbook Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
benjii Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 Very good defensively. Yoshida in particular has been immense. Man of the match so far. Also mad props to Valery and Vestergaard. Cedric crap. Need more from Ings. Obviously he hasn't had any chances but he needs to get in front of the centre backs and win us some free kicks. We give the ball away so cheaply when attacking sometimes, it's very frustrating. Overall though, got to be happy with that.
Shroppie Posted 2 January, 2019 Author Posted 2 January, 2019 3-3Ok, I give up. Mental. Four goals in 6 minutes. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I'd give him another ten then stick Long on.

NewYorkSaint Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 I LOVE watching the press. Yes, Chelsea sometimes were able to one-touch past it. But there were at least three occasions where we flustered them and rewon possession in a good place. I hope we can sustain energy for second half. Pretty sure our players covered at least 25% more ground than chelsea. Exciting to see Gunn in action. Great prospect. And Valery super-calm under pressure. Plus one brilliant shimmy to get free to cross. Fun half! We could have been watching Saints under Poch.
Useful Idiot Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 Playing pretty well. Valery looks better defensively than he does going forwards. JWP has been pretty decent this half. Romeu good. Armstrong's worked hard but has been lacking when he has the ball. Redmond has done OK, Ings has worked hard but had few opportunities to hurt Chelsea. The back 3 have all looked decent, especially 吉田 and Vestergaard. John Moss is a very poor ref. Gunn has looked very good.

Chez Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 we've parked the bus. five at the back and zero attacking threat. Good plan. The more we attack the more we look like we will concede. Keep it tight chaps.
Sheaf Saint Posted 2 January, 2019 Posted 2 January, 2019 More of the same 2nd half please. Been very impressed with Gunn so far. Yoshida showing the level he can get to when he's given a run of games. Hard to believe Vestergaard is the same player who looked so dreadful against Cardiff recently. It's our lack of pace on the wings that's so obviously stopping us from landing any serious blows on Chelsea though. Long on for Ings????
