Saint_clark Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Nathan finally fulfillng his potential under Ralph? When he's not stuck on the left hand touchline and instructed to turn/pass back all game he looks good, always has. Get him in the middle or out on the right and get him running at people. Sent from my SM-J600FN using Tapatalk
skintsaint Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Palace 2-1 up at City. Ffs! My fault, my first accy for ages and had city has my banker.
OttawaSaint Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Gah! That was a great opportunity for Redmond’s patented cut in and shoot, pass didn’t get there.
DT Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Not comfortable while still only 1 up. Redmond might have done better there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
OttawaSaint Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 My fault, my first accy for ages and had city has my banker. I captained Ederson in my FPL team.

OttawaSaint Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 We got a bit lucky there after cocking up the one-two.
striker Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 We look completely different, Ralphie has mad a hug difference
Jonnyboy Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 We look completely different, Ralphie has mad a hug difference Amazing what a hug will do
Ohio Saint Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 We look completely different, Ralphie has mad a hug difference We all need a hug sometimes
OttawaSaint Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 A few of the passes not quite coming off but the intent is there, players a moving off the ball so well and taking up very dangerous positions. If we get that passing going there will be some exquisite moves and goals.
Saint_clark Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Prime example of how the TV producers control how the atmosphere sounds there. Halfway through a line of "last christmas" the saints fans voices just disappear. Did every single fan stop singing at exactly the same moment? Sent from my SM-J600FN using Tapatalk
fez Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 We look completely different, Ralphie has mad a hug difference He can have a hug from me whenever he wants. And I'm not mad
skintsaint Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBLIcAulx9k what a goal that is from Townsend
Monk Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Who is the Premier League co-commentator on the stream? Complete donkey.
GarrettIvo Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Clean sheet now please. Plus another goal or two. 3 points and improve our goal difference.

Pamplemousse Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 I still maintain that we don't have a particularly great squad of players, so for Hassenhutl to get this team playing like this so early is nothing short of miraculous. Dare I say world class? Happy days so far, but as others have said, clean sheet is vital.
DT Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 I heart ralph Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
DG Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Honestly thought we were gone, credit to the players for responding to the manager, so good to have a decent one again.
austsaint Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Great first half - Romeu and Hoj running things in midfield; Yoshida and Vest both commanding - Redmond very lively. Only two disappointments are Armstrong who isn't involved at all and Targett looks shaky at LB. I'd replace Armstrong with Lemina and play him advanced left side. The energy and some of the passing from Saints has been great to watch.
St Marco Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBLIcAulx9k what a goal that is from Townsend ****ing hell what a strike that was. Back to Saints. Just goes to show you how **** our previous managers have been. If you try and win you might actually win. Nice to have a manager with some balls who isn't afraid to take chances and make decisions that actually give us chances to win games. How managers get paid millions for being **** and getting sacked is just crazy.
striker Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Fitness and pace are key to Ralphie's style. With the constant pressing and attacking (from all positions), the players need to rotate back on defence very quickly when they lose possession. No more static players, passing back, style. IMO the 2 wings are the weakest link. When we get Bertrand and Cedric back out there, with their pace, this lineup will really fly. Then Targett and Valery can supply quality depth on the bench (with Lemina/Romeu, Austin, Stephens, etc.).
Batman Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 so much for the few that suggested that a new manager (even pep) would not make a difference!
DT Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Must say Romeu having v good game as central pivot; decent pairing with Hoj Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dalek2003 Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Honestly thought we were gone, credit to the players for responding to the manager, so good to have a decent one again. Don't tempt fate. Wait until full time.
skintsaint Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 A great 1st half away from home, lets hope we don't let them back into the game early 2nd half, next goal crucial!
JoeShmoe Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Valery has been superb again, difficult to see how Cedric walks back in

Pamplemousse Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 so much for the few that suggested that a new manager (even pep) would not make a difference! I am pleasantly surprised that he's had the impact that he's had. Saying that, it couldn't get much worse really.
Topcat Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Two wins in a row, unbelievable (fingers crossed).
OttawaSaint Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Valery has been superb again, difficult to see how Cedric walks back in He doesn’t walk back in. Not with this manager, he’s going to need to work his tail off. Great isn’t it?
