Saints foreva Posted 21 December, 2018 Posted 21 December, 2018 They'll **** the league this year. Clear for all to see.
Pamplemousse Posted 21 December, 2018 Posted 21 December, 2018 As we know, VVD is prone to injury, and when that happens (it will happen) they'll slip up. City will win the title with ease IMO. A small part of me wants Liverpool to go unbeaten because it'll **** off Arsenal fans.

LGTL Posted 21 December, 2018 Posted 21 December, 2018 To go unbeaten and still finish second (entirely possible) would be beautiful. Van Djik is absolutely immense.
SFC Forever Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 I hope that LiverSaints can do it this time around. VVD is in my mind the best buy of all that came from us. My only regret is that he seemed to down tools before leaving us.
benjii Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 It's Man City v Liverpool between Xmas and new year, I think, so that'll be good.
OldNick Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 the Mahrez penalty miss will be costly. All the stars are lining up for them, the last minute winner against Everton, Mahrez penalty miss and they do seem to have the luck going their way.I would love them to go unbeaten and finish 5th lol. Pompey promotion and Liverpool title winning will take the shine off this season
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 This is turning into the liverpool swooning thread...
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Arsenal v Burnley Huddersfield v Saints Man City v Palace Newcastle v Fulham (Draw) Cardiff v Man Utd Please Santa

Lord Duckhunter Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 A small part of me wants Liverpool to go unbeaten because it'll **** off Arsenal fans. A big part of me wants them to finish unbeaten, but still finish below City (who end up winning more games). Would be funny as ****. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Lighthouse Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 I think any achievement for Liverpool would be nauseating, unbeaten, Champions or otherwise. We'd never hear the end of it. If they have a miraculous streak of injury free games, like Leicester did, they can win the League. The difference with City is they can have 3 of their best players injured in Aguero, KDB and Silva and still spank 90% of this league. Take Salah and Virgil out of Liverpool's team, they're pretty average looking. Mane seems to have entered his usual winter hibernation recently and Firminho hasn't been up to much either.

shurlock Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 This is turning into the liverpool swooning thread... Jealous again?

Dusic Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 VVD proving he was too good to mess around in a Pellegrino team. Would have been a waste of his career, as his move has demonstrated.
Batman Posted 22 December, 2018 Author Posted 22 December, 2018 Arsenal take the lead with a lovely goal
Bad Wolf Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 I'd like to see Liverpool win the league tbh. Our ex guys that are there haven't ALL Left on bad terms. Mane, Clyne (not that he plays much now) and Ox all left on good terms didn't they? I know we all hate VVD as well but he is genuinely world class.
mrfahaji Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 I think I would prefer anyone to win the league over Liverpool. Spurs debatable. I detest City but they're such a hollow club that I feel a bit nonchalant about their success (though still hope they don't win the CL, ever).
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 (edited) Jealous again? No, just think the swooning is embarassing, a bit like you i guess.... a joke This bit from Lighthouse`s post sums it up perfectly I think any achievement for Liverpool would be nauseating, unbeaten, Champions or otherwise. We'd never hear the end of it. Edited 22 December, 2018 by ALWAYS_SFC

ALWAYS_SFC Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Erm why would we not? I don't think Liverpool give two craps about us tbh. Do you mean "why would we not swoon" ? If you do then i have explained already that i think its embarassing...
mrfahaji Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Erm why would we not? I don't think Liverpool give two craps about us tbh. Because we (as in, the whole country, not specifically Saints fans) never hear the end of anything Liverpool do, even when they're not winning.
Bad Wolf Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Because we (as in, the whole country, not specifically Saints fans) never hear the end of anything Liverpool do, even when they're not winning. Oh I thought you meant us as a club. No, yes, you're right. WE as a country wouldn't hear the end of it.

No different to the Man U bollôcks everyone has to put up with constantly. Klopp‘s made them a into a good team who are exciting to watch. Good for them.

Shroppie Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 (edited) Arsenal 3 Burnley 1Good result for us. Still out of the relegation zone. And a win today will open up a bit of a gap, particularly if Fulham lose too. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk Edited 22 December, 2018 by Shroppie

bpsaint Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 ****ing get in!!! Great pressure by Redders!!
Pamplemousse Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 I guess that means Puel is getting the sack then...
tajjuk Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Palace winning at City was disappointing, but need Utd to beat Cardiff now to keep that gap.

Baird of the land Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Palace winning at City was disappointing, but need Utd to beat Cardiff now to keep that gap. I’m happy that the money bags got a gunk. I’d be equally happy to see united continue to struggle.

whelk Posted 22 December, 2018 Posted 22 December, 2018 Annoying that we couldn’t play Cardiff a few weeks into Ralph’s reign. Never should’ve lost to that lot.
