Bit of a message being sent to Hoedt, Elyanoussi, JWP, Gabbi. Good. Too many bew mangers come in and lazily pick players on reputation alone. Will either make better players of them, or they’ll sulk and be out of here. Hoedt certainly needs taking down a peg or three.

You're only allowed 3 subs and these are pre-planned so barring unforeseen injuries it doesn't matter who else is on the bench. Last week it was Johnson's turn.

 

Obviously today Austin, Long & Lemina are the three planned subs for Ings, Armstrong & Redmond.

Tbf Pellegrino played Obafemi and pretty sure he had Valrey on the bench a few times. It's pretty much just Hughes who didn't seem to like young players.

We need more than 18 players in our squad. Of course, those 14 is too many but we do need some beyond those named in the matchday 18.
