IOWSaintDaz Posted 2 December, 2018 Posted 2 December, 2018 The FA Cup 3rd round draw is tomorrow at 7:30, Who do you want??.....could we get Pompey???? and if by some quirk of fate we do draw them out the hat do you think we'ed beat them with the current state were in???
Cabbage_Face Posted 2 December, 2018 Posted 2 December, 2018 Not Pompey Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Micky Posted 2 December, 2018 Posted 2 December, 2018 I went to watch Pompey a couple of weeks ago, they really weren't that great at all, I think we'd easily beat them. That said, I'd rather we draw a Midlands club, Villa, Brum or Baggies is a decent away day for me. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
Noodles34 Posted 2 December, 2018 Posted 2 December, 2018 Mam City away, just so we can concentrate on relegation.
danjosaint Posted 2 December, 2018 Posted 2 December, 2018 Pompey, so we could beat them before nxt season when they will do double over us
OttawaSaint Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Leicester at Saint Mary’s. City or Everton away. Kidding. Someone ****, can we play ourselves?
OttawaSaint Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Mam City away, just so we can concentrate on relegation. Their mams would definitely beat us!
woodsaint Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Going on our recent run in cup draws, it will be another prem team. Il go with Wolves
Lighthouse Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Some minnows at St Mary's, please. This. Not the Skates. This lot are so weak mentally, they’d make the 2005 bottle job at Fratton look like a picnic.
Dark Munster Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Some minnows at St Mary's, please. Yes, the Skates would be good.
Nordic Saint Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Pompey. Let's get them now while we can still beat them.
Pamplemousse Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Wigan last season were a better team than the skates currently are and we beat them. They're League 1 standard for a reason, we would have ZERO problems against them. You lot have lost all sense of perspective and reality. Let's invite our fishy friends from the east to St Mary's and give them the thrashing they deserve; thus kickstarting our season under our new manager and eventually leading us to a top half finish.
Shroppie Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Shrewsbury or Wrexham A would be convenient. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
JRM Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Loads of potential good draws, generally prefer an away trip in this round of the cup, my preferences: Woking Barnet Oxford United Wrexham or Newport Accrington Stanley Shrewsbury Grimsby Lincoln AFC Wimbledon Skates Most likely get Watford or Palace.
benjii Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 We never get a proper minnow. Can we have a minnow, please?
LGTL Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Skates away. Anyone who doesn't want them is a bit odd IMO.
DT Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Somebody to beat at home, thus allowing the manager - whoever that is - to build on a settled side, and getting a good atmosphere back at St Mary's
trousers Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 We will get a mid-table premier league side. Fact.
Shroppie Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 We will get a mid-table premier league side. Fact.Probably Spurs away, at Wembley. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
ericb Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Skates away. Anyone who doesn't want them is a bit odd IMO. Exactly that, if the Skates are in the draw you want them at theirs. Given they're league one and we're in the prem (no matter how badly we're doing there) we'd go in favourites for a reason and should beat them. I don't understand anyone who doesn't want that game, 99% of our games are pointless and meaningless, that's a game that never will be, so why would you not want it?
KK the 2nd Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Flores, sacked by Watford and more recently sacked by Espanyol, 2/1 favourite to be the next manager.
bpsaint Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Would be really good to play a minnow at home - so Pompey please Not worried about facing them even on current form, reminds me of when we were flying in League One and they still beat us despite being dog****.
Hatch Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Whoever the lowest ranked team is, and at home.
Saint_lambden Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Flores, sacked by Watford and more recently sacked by Espanyol, 2/1 favourite to be the next manager. Don't think he's in the draw
Baird of the land Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 A struggling championship side like Bolton or Ipswich would be ideal.
aintforever Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 The last team I want our shower of sh!te playing is Pompey.
Bad Wolf Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Any West Country team away would be brilliant.
Give it to Ron Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Flores, sacked by Watford and more recently sacked by Espanyol, 2/1 favourite to be the next manager.Espanyol are poorer without him 24 wins 24 draws 25 losses saw them on tv Saturday are rubbish. Blackpool or Solihull away Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
Micky Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Shrewsbury or Wrexham A would be convenient. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk Good call actually. 20 mins down the road. See you there.
Norm Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Liverpool away, then concentrate on staying in Prem.
saint1977 Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Exactly that, if the Skates are in the draw you want them at theirs. Given they're league one and we're in the prem (no matter how badly we're doing there) we'd go in favourites for a reason and should beat them. I don't understand anyone who doesn't want that game, 99% of our games are pointless and meaningless, that's a game that never will be, so why would you not want it? Exactly. They were rock bottom in PL in 2010, we were resurgent but had Fonte etc cup tied. Gave them a good game (James made a brilliant save from Lallana) but fitness and the pace of Quincy off the bench Vs Jaidi and Perry told late on. We would beat them despite the current appalling state of SFC.
vectraman Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Pompey at home. Smash them 6-0. Laugh at them. Makes me happy !!
eurosaint Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Woking at home for me would be the dream tie ! Family reasons etc.. Could still go if we are away but would probably be in the home end !
hackedoff Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Pompey please, if not another Prem team as per usual.
St Marco Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Just know it is going to be Stoke away. If Hughes is still here by then that would be one very toxic atmosphere.
Shroppie Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Just know it is going to be Stoke away. If Hughes is still here by then that would be one very toxic atmosphere.Have you caught up on the day's news? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
St Marco Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 Ok scrap that didn't realise he was sacked!! In that case a non league team please!
nta786 Posted 3 December, 2018 Posted 3 December, 2018 when was the last time we drew a league 1 team? and wigan last season doesn't count because on paper, city were overwhelming favourites to be our quarterfinal opponents!
