Sheaf Saint Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Finally Austin goes off - for the equally ineffectual Elyonoussi. We're in deep trouble aren't we.
saintant Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 But the even bigger clown Hughes continues to select him.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Wow. Hoedt has been so bad today, he's really outdone himself. Ball watching, under-hitting and overhitting passes, giving ball away, missing easy headers and now this... GET RID! To who?
washsaint Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Finally Austin goes off - for the equally ineffectual Elyonoussi. We're in deep trouble aren't we. Yes.....pace on the bench and he brings on another s***e summer signing that has been terrible
OttawaSaint Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 To who? I don't know. A newsagents probably needs a paperboy.
Shroppie Posted 24 November, 2018 Author Posted 24 November, 2018 Finally Austin goes off - for the equally ineffectual Elyonoussi. We're in deep trouble aren't we.We've now got the shape I didn't want, assuming Gabbiadini is now alone as a striker. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
manji Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 It’s pointless scapegoating one player. Doesn’t matter who’s playing , we can’t hold on to a positive score.
jabei Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Wish I was a neutral...most exciting game this season.....two poor teams but as bad as each other makes for a decent game. Both sides will be outclassed by virtually everyone else this year.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 This could be any score line but it will end up with us having the smallest number in it
John Boy Saint Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Aussies getting smashed by England 30 - 13 atm
Saint Albert Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 The odd thing is that the Fulham defenders at least try to mark our players when we cross into their box. Awfully decent of us not to mark theirs at the other end, I suppose≥. TSN feed back up...
Mr X Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 To who? cut our loses whoever will pay a million...... cough cough
Portugalsaint Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 (edited) Finally Austin goes off - for the equally ineffectual Elyonoussi. We're in deep trouble aren't we. We are now 18th, so yes in deep trouble. It has never been easy being a Saints supporter. Edited 24 November, 2018 by Portugalsaint
saintant Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Yeah, defender...ermm, what's my job? Should I just stand in a space or should I mark an opponent.
Disco Stu Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 I'm starting to wonder if we're actually capable of winning any football game against anyone.
OttawaSaint Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Why Moi, he's ****ing hopeless. Might as well roll the dice on Obafemi. He's been given 5 minutes in his 2 opportunities. How is that enough to be an impact?
Shroppie Posted 24 November, 2018 Author Posted 24 November, 2018 Will he stay or will he goThe key problem is we've got no one capable of choosing a replacement. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
DG Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 We are now 18th, so yes in deep trouble Amazing it has taken this long, shows how easy it would be to stay up if the board wasn't infested with morons.
striker Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Both Austin and Gabbi have done nothing, and its primarily due to the midfield not creating anything. They are isolated, and the only time they touch the ball is if they come away from the goal. Thinking that replacing Austin will change anything is dumb. Plus scapegoating Austin, and not Gabbi, makes no sense. The anti-Austin fervor here is over the top. Give those guys some midfielders who create and attack better, then they will look a lot better. Same goes for Ings. The real culprit here is 1) the defence is horrible, and 2) lack of quality in the attacking mid position (ala Mane)

OttawaSaint Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Had we been 3-2 up I'd be as nervous as **** but I bet we barely threaten them in the closing stages. Nice comfortable stoppage time coming up for Fulham fans I think.

saintant Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 If we lose today then surely Hughes must be shown the door. He has shown that he is incapable of taking this team forward. Not sure why he was given a 3 year deal. Absolute madness.
Saint Albert Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Fulham have conceded 8 goals in the last 15 so far this season...there’s some hope.

ALWAYS_SFC Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Bielsa for Hughes please Why would he leave Leeds

We're reliant on clever play and we don't have too many who appear capable on an individual level and the team build up is often so ponderous.
trousers Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Why would he leave LeedsNo reason whatsoever. Just me thinking out loud #wishfulthinking
striker Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Also based on my opinion above, I think a change to a 4-5-1 makes sense. We need a formation that can get whatever we have to create chances, and it looks like a 4-4-2 can't work with out mids

supersonic Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Wesley Hoedt makes Callum Davenport look like Maldini. We’ve had some ****e defenders over the years, and he’s right up there
OttawaSaint Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Armstrong hattrick? Nope. Dip**** Hughes has subbed him off.

Les and Co shot themselves in the foot getting rid.

John Boy Saint Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Amstrong off....WTF Got a cramp guess a precaution
saintant Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 We cant score goals. Armstrong gets 2 so Hughes takes him off. Go figure!
Saint_clark Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 That's right take off the player who has looked the most threatening of anyone all season... Sent from my SM-J600FN using Tapatalk
Saint Albert Posted 24 November, 2018 Posted 24 November, 2018 Amstrong off....WTF My only thought is that he’s not played regularly and is lacking the fitness to last the full 90.
