doddisalegend Posted 21 November, 2018 Posted 21 November, 2018 Two saints ( and one saints old boy) players in it maybe not ones you'd first think of either https://www.football365.com/news/the-worst-premier-league-xi-of-the-season-so-far-2
disconnect Posted 21 November, 2018 Posted 21 November, 2018 Well, I guess it goes on the players who have played most games, but extremely harsh of them to put Ings in whilst the likes of Jordan Ayew have escaped!
Sheaf Saint Posted 21 November, 2018 Posted 21 November, 2018 Technically there are two Saints old boys, if you include loanees.
hypochondriac Posted 21 November, 2018 Posted 21 November, 2018 Well, I guess it goes on the players who have played most games, but extremely harsh of them to put Ings in whilst the likes of Jordan Ayew have escaped! It's a stupid list. Long is infinitely worse than ings.
doddisalegend Posted 21 November, 2018 Author Posted 21 November, 2018 It's a stupid list. Long is infinitely worse than ings. It does state. And we’re talking regulars here, so all these players have played in at least three-quarters of their club’s Premier League games. We have used WhoScored’s ratings as a guide… Long doesn't fit the criteria on that basis.
Cabbage_Face Posted 21 November, 2018 Posted 21 November, 2018 Pathetic "Article" How Hoedt doesn't feature is beyond me.
Nordic Saint Posted 21 November, 2018 Posted 21 November, 2018 Very unfair on Ings. He has been one of our better players, although our training and coaching are beginning to take their toll of a player who looked really sharp when he arrived from Liverpool.
VectisSaint Posted 21 November, 2018 Posted 21 November, 2018 Pathetic "Article" How Hoedt doesn't feature is beyond me. Clearly not good enough to get into the side. Think it's harsh on Cedric and Ings, who certainly haven't been our worst players this season. Hoedt, Vestegaard, Bertrand, Romeu, Long, Austin, Redmond, Moi and JWP all much more deserving of a place.
Norm Posted 21 November, 2018 Posted 21 November, 2018 I guessed Cedric correctly but then everyone else did as well.

S-Clarke Posted 21 November, 2018 Posted 21 November, 2018 Cedric is trash, so no surprise to see him in there. Should have gone back to Portugal in the summer.
Nordic Saint Posted 21 November, 2018 Posted 21 November, 2018 Cedric has absolutely been one of our worst players this season. An excellent replacement is available: https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/nathaniel-clyne-set-offered-liverpool-13625010
Ultimatt Posted 21 November, 2018 Posted 21 November, 2018 Opta have our expected goals as double what we've scored so no surprise we have a striker on the list. Surprising it's Ings, but I guess you could put any of them on there. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/nov/20/premier-league-numbers-run-furthest-missed-most-chances-12-games-statistics Bit harsh on Jack Cork. They're comparing his stats to last year where he was very good and actually covered more ground than any other player in the premier league.
ChiefScummer Posted 21 November, 2018 Posted 21 November, 2018 Totally unfair on ingsy. Surprised about a few on there to be honest. Cedric is deserving though.
norwaysaint Posted 22 November, 2018 Posted 22 November, 2018 An excellent replacement is available: https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/nathaniel-clyne-set-offered-liverpool-13625010 I'd love to get Clyne back.
Nordic Saint Posted 4 January, 2019 Posted 4 January, 2019 An excellent replacement is available: https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/nathaniel-clyne-set-offered-liverpool-13625010 Sadly, it seems that Bournemouth noticed before we did.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 4 January, 2019 Posted 4 January, 2019 Sadly, it seems that Bournemouth noticed before we did. I`m sure Ralph and the club noticed but decided they don't want him
