Yorkshire Saint Posted 21 January, 2023 Author Share Posted 21 January, 2023 Can anyone tell me what this was all about in terms of where it came from? I remember it on the Milton .. 'Celery! Celery! If she don't cum, I'll tickle her bum, with a lump of celery

Probably during the Don Revie era at Leeds. I grant you, lyrically, it's not the strongest song ever, but very easy to remember. To "The Dam Busters" tune....... "We all hate Leeds and Leeds and Leeds, Leeds and Leeds and Leeds and Leeds, and Leeds and Leeds and Leeds, WE ALL F**CKIN' HATE LEEDS" A Classic of its time! I think Man Utd still sing this regularly.
SotonianWill Posted 21 January, 2023 Share Posted 21 January, 2023 (edited) 🕵🏻♂️ would seem it was the chas and dave song “ask old brown to tea” sung by chelsea originally then adapted by them over time with a bit of she wore a yellow ribbon thrown in as everyone sung it about wembley, for an “upgraded cruder version”. we probably just copied off chelsea, unless our fans are experts in that sort of stuff.
