doddisalegend Posted 9 November, 2018 Posted 9 November, 2018 Gabbi is a wide man (or at least an inside forward). He has never been a 1 up top striker - which is why he was famed in Italy for cutting inside and smashing them in from 25 yards. an inside forward in 4-3-3 isn't really the same role as a winger in a 4-4-2 though
Dusic Posted 9 November, 2018 Posted 9 November, 2018 an inside forward in 4-3-3 isn't really the same role as a winger in a 4-4-2 thoughQuite. Seen nothing from Gabbiadini to suggest he should be starting to be honest.
Lighthouse Posted 9 November, 2018 Author Posted 9 November, 2018 Quite. Seen nothing from Gabbiadini to suggest he should be starting to be honest. I've seen plenty from the rest of them to suggest he should be.
qwertyell Posted 9 November, 2018 Posted 9 November, 2018 442 Mc carthy Cedric hoedt maya bertrand Redmond Pierre Lemina Gabbiadini Armstrong ingsLooks more like 4-2-3-1 to me. Armstrong at 10, Redmond and Gabbiadini as wingers/inside forwards. Sent from my F3311 using Tapatalk
Jonnyboy Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 Just like things didn't instantly go bad after Reed took over (huge positive momentum) They won't instantly improve now he's left either. (huge negative momentum) I'm expecting a new optimism, freedom and desire now we are finally free of the Leslie shackles.... But could honestly take months for that to translate to results and possibly years before we fully recover on/off the field. Fans need to unite and stick together while we recover. #family #momentum #lookforwardnotback #shackles 1-1 B*tch please.
HKsaint Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 Finally, Hughes can deploy the players that Reed doesn't want.
Dark Munster Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 I've seen plenty from the rest of them to suggest he should be. This. At least with Gabbi we know that he does have potential goals in him, unlike Long and apparently a washed-up Austin.

ooh it's a corner Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 Start Yoshida and don't start Austin. Please.
SKD Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 442 Mc carthy Cedric hoedt maya bertrand Redmond Pierre Lemina Gabbiadini Armstrong ings Looks like a 4231, with Armstrong in the 10. Or possibly a 433. Excluding Hoedt, that’s probably exactly what I would go for as well, if I’m honest.

Manuel Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 Wonder what sort of crowd reaction we'll get if we actually score a goal today.

Sent from my F3311 using Tapatalk That would make more sense but K billy seems to be ITK and is clear its 4-4-2 which has been Hughes prefered formation.
Lighthouse Posted 10 November, 2018 Author Posted 10 November, 2018 Wonder what sort of crowd reaction we'll get if we actually score a goal today. If we what a what today?
doddisalegend Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 Wonder what sort of crowd reaction we'll get if we actually score a goal today. Joy followed moments later by resignation as we let the opposition reply with a goal of their own thanks to a **** up by Hoedt.....probably
captainchris Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 Yeah, looks like it's eased off a bit. (We'll still get battered) Can I have chips with that? (I’ll get my coat !)
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 an inside forward in 4-3-3 isn't really the same role as a winger in a 4-4-2 though It's not a 4-4-2 though.
larry12 Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 I would be amazed if Hughes was letting Reed tell him who to pick in the team. I think he'd rather walk Let me think. Walk out and say goodbye to Les Reed's constant pay off after one year, OR stay and collect up to £6m when I get the sack in a few weeks/months time. Difficult! Alright Les, I will play your Prowsywowsey even tho he's shiiite.
doddisalegend Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 It's not a 4-4-2 though. K billy is pretty sure it is.
Pamplemousse Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 I like that team, I think it's got a good balance to it. I'd have stuck with Hoedt and Stephens personally. Glad Armstrong's playing instead of Austin.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 442 Mc carthy Cedric hoedt maya bertrand Redmond Pierre Lemina Gabbiadini Armstrong ings Would be happier seeing Hoedt dropped but something tells me he’s seen as the best option currently. Otherwise that’s pretty much our best line-up currently...which says little about the quality in the squad with Redmond still getting a guaranteed start . I hope Obifemi is on the bench and given a proper chance to shine. Can see us losing this by being bullied..0-1.
OttawaSaint Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 Ings and O'Befemi starting. FACT #mess It’s the team kbilly posted
Noodles34 Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 At what point will this clown of a manager know wtf he is doing. It's just a different roll of the dice every ****ing week. What is he looking at in training fFFFS
DT Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 Hoedt playing. He must have some amazing blackmail material. We have lost. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Golac's Iron Gonads Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 Pretty much the team I would have been picking since the start of the season. But I'm not a highly paid manager so what do I know.
StrangelyBrown Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 No defensive midfield again. We'll get overrun in midfield while we "try" to win. There's no one in that team to counteract Watford's physicality. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk

There's no one in that team to counteract Watford's physicality. Which of Watford's starting XI would you label as the big physical threats? Why do you think Hojbjerg and Lemina aren't physically strong central midfielders?

Pamplemousse Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 Hoedt to score just to shut up the wazzocks here.
washsaint Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 WTF has Stephens done to deserve being dropped (again!). This c**t of a manager makes me want to throw up. HUGHES OUT
OttawaSaint Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 Hoedt to score just to shut up the wazzocks here. I’m hearing that the guy we’ve been watching wasn’t actually Hoedt but Les Reed in disguise. The real Hoedt should do better. Apparently Reed was picking the team, running training, picking formation, buying all players, cooking the sausage rolls, mowing the turf, falling out with Yoshida etc. With him gone we will be on the up(ward momentum curve ) eventually.

Unbelievable Jeff Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 K billy is pretty sure it is. Only when defending I would have thought.

StrangelyBrown Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 Not even having Romeu as an option on the bench seems like a mistake to me.Completely agree. Also hoedt gets another chance despite being completely cock last week whereas Stephens gets the chop. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk

StrangelyBrown Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 Because they are both box to box hard working midfielders. Neither never have been defensive midfielders,b but a so called football expert like yourself would no that, whereas a qualified football coach like myself wouldn't. ALWAYS_SFC Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 The Hoedt situation is certainly strange , he`s been pretty poor a times and more than others who have lost there place
doddisalegend Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 All I wanna know is who kbilly is or who he knows. Well we can rule out Les Reed..
nta786 Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 The Hoedt situation is certainly strange , he`s been pretty poor a times and more than others who have lost there place his two own goals this season have been laughable.

OttawaSaint Posted 10 November, 2018 Posted 10 November, 2018 My cat just shat all over my doormat. Hopefully a good omen in that it won’t be Saints serving up a pile of **** this weekend...
