Can you nutters talking about pitch invasions during the game please get a grip on reality? Yes, it'll make the press, but for all the WRONG reasons - Club unable to control fans, disciplinary action, potential fines and points deductions - how in fecks name is that going to help!?

Sing your hearts out for those on the pitch as much as you can, and direct as much abuse at Lowe and co too, and lets have a great bleeding vociferous sit-in protest after the game, with the chanting, banners, whatever floats you boat.

Just quit with this damn ridiculous idea of pitch invasions during the game, it'll only make the situation ten times worse than it already is.

It is so self-defeating not to be in the stands supporting the team. Demo after, NOT during the match. The Spirit of Southampton must not die.

before the game would be best - if we lose to swansea god knows what will happen after the game?!!

I do agree but i don't think they'll happen unless things drag on. The club will no doubt have police presence at home games now and extra stewards also to prevent pitch invasions en masse.

When the majority of people are still in the pub?

If people can't be ar5ed to give up 30 mins drinking time, then we end up with what we deserve.

If you're that desperate for a pint, then get there 30 mins early.

Some will be saying they have to get a bus after as well.

Before, after and then relentless for me.

The best time to make a protest that would catch the eye of the 2 chairmen is around 1pm which is when the pair usually turn up for home games. A coffin placed outside reception say at 12:45 would really unnerve them, especially Wilde who was so rattled by the demonstrations on Saturday he left the ground 20 minutes before the end. You wouldn't want him next to you in the trenches - that's for sure. A sizeable crowd outside would make it awkward for the two men to find their way in and if a coffin barred the way I can see the photo in the Echo now.

If somebody could design and post a simple pdf of an A4 poster that could be printed off easily, then everyone could print off a load each and distibute them before the game. If everyone has the same poster it looks much more impressive, and spreads the cost between many.

Agreed, i like my beer before a game just as much & probably more than the next person but 30 mins drinking time is nothing to spare as far as this is concerned imo.

OK my take on this, getting rid of Lowe is going to have no effect on our current situation.

As much as he's ******ed up there is not much money there to fix it! That is unless Crouch does plough in the £2M he promised!!

We need to get rid of the whole lot of them and that just ain't going to happen!!

Good luck though.

A suggestion (because a lot of these protests peter out in a whimper).

I would urge all of you with season tickets (especially those who take kids) to e-mail the club and tell them that you will hold the club AND ITS CEO responsible should you suffer any injury due to crowd disturbances. Indicate that the danger of such injury has increased because of how the club is being run, and that it is the club's legal duty (as part of the season ticket contract) to keep SMS safe. This duty includes the need to anticipate problems where there are reasonable grounds to expect that such problems may emerge, as there are now.

That kind of legal communication cannot be easily ignored - even by Rupert, and it might become a really valuable pressure tactic.

i like that idea,i take my grandson,so im gonna email the club straight away,i urge others to follow suit

Protests achieve nothing, Lowe probably wont even be there.

I was talking to a brentford supporter at work yesterday. They've had problems in the past with dodge chairmen. They set up something called bias to help them remove ex saint david webb when he owned them ( http://www.bias.org.uk/about.php ). They also got rid of ron noades too! And yeovil supporters also had success in removing a chairman (called david webb!).

Could we learn anything from them? What did they do and how?
