We all knew that he would score, but I really didnt think he would score within a minute.

did we??? really???

if that's the case then how come we all didn't know we would survive relegation last season: 32,000 people could've saved themselves some money by not bothering to turn up to the sheff utd game as we all knew we would stay up.......

no-one knew that KP would score yesterday...we all had the gut instinct that he is likely to and ,at the end of the day, that is what Brumingham pay him to do..........

the chanting would definately have spurred him on to score, and it's that sort of mentality among some of our fans that sometimes will give the opposition that extra yard of pace or determination to win.......

it's like when we have gone 2 or 3 goals clear in a game and some sections of the crowd start sing "easy, easy", i just wanna cringe, coz ya just know that nothing is ever 'easy' when it comes to Saints......

support our team, not deride the other teams' players, surely history would've taught you this by now!!

So the Northam thinks it is so hard and great to shout abuse at Kevin Phillips eh? What we think it is worthy of a laugh to sing "He ****ged Bret Ormerod's wife" eh?

Well fancy f@cking me!! Doesn't the lad come on a score within seconds of taking to the field. And how does that make us lot in the Northam seem??

Perhaps the ***ts who started the chant against Kevin Phillips should at the very least be humbled by it and perhaps grow the f@ck up and support our boys rather than hurl insults at another player, whatever colour and whatever his previous history is.

I was f@cking embarassed to hear all that crap going on. And frankly, well done Kevin Phillips for rising above it and doing exactly what was needed to humiliate the tossers who started the chant.

I am forever Saints, but the crap which came from the Northam today was unaceptable.

UP THE SAINTS, SAINTS TILL I DIE!

Oh shut up, it was hilarious. I completely respect Phillips as a player, but these things happen in football, he's probably ****ged a million people since his wife left him and, to be honest, the chant was no worse than your spelling.

rocknrollman: embarassed? No mate. **** you. do you know how it feels to have a few people slag you off for having an extra-marital affair? do you? well how about a ****ing stadium?? oh! no! ...

FATHERS FOR JUSTICE

UP THE SAINTS

Are you one of those people we see on tv dressed as Batman?

Seems by the tone of your posts, you probably have a few "issues" going on inside your head,as well as your feeling sorry for Kevin Phillips.

Get over it,stop talking twaddle and learn not to take tings so seriously.

Probably the same idiots that started the barracking against Glenn Hoddle's return in 2004 ! They have done more then anyone to screw up this club, but they will never learn and never admit to it !

O shut up, if you don't like it, move!! Personally, I wasn't singing that/those songs, but I do think that Phillips is a **** of the highest order. It would have had no bearing on his performance, every team should know at this level that he is a threat.

Are you the same stupid bint that phoned Radio Hampshire after the game saying pretty much the same thing?

The two aren't actually linked so I guess you're saying people shouldn't sing or chant? or maybe they shouldn't sing or chant anything you disagree with? Maybe you should publish a list of things that are not acceptable? I'm sure that would clear up any confusion.

I'm not sure Northam have 'done more than anyone to screw up this club'. Seems pretty harsh really as all they've done is turn up and spend money watching some quite dire football. Perhaps they sanctioned player transfers, or were responsible for a bloated squad of very average players that got us relegated, maybe they appointed a 'head coach' too many. If they did then I apologise - I didn't notice at the time.

Incidentally do you only post about Hoddle? I need to know whether to put you on ignore or not as it seems you've already said everything and now just repeat yourself.

Think you should keep your thoughts to yourself slimboy! The mush involved was fired up,and it has cost him a season ticket.Do you have one,do you get upset when someone scores against our team,he does,so shut your gob up you plank!

I seroiously don't wish to argue al of the points that you have tried to make there Tony, apart from one. Please tell me that you are not seriously questioning my level of support based on the fact that I do not agree with your friend trying to get onto the pitch?

What would your friend have done had the stewards not done their job, and he had made it to the Birmingham players? How do think the Birmingham supporters would have reacted? What would the repurcussions have been for the club that you profess to love?

I am sorry if (as you say) he has lost his season ticket, and if that is the case, then I think it is a bit over the top.

This is all getting very tiresome and predictable.

Are we going to have the same "it's all the fans fault" kind of threads every time we lose?

Or the "not a fan if you're not blindly optimistic" threads?

Or maybe more of the "shut-up if weren't there you're not allowed an opinion" kind of threads.

Pathetic.
