Suhari Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Bournemouth 3-0 up. Showing us what a well run, stable club can do.
Pamplemousse Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Imagine the meltdown on here if we lost 4-0 at Burnley
shurlock Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 and people here dont rate eddie how.!!! And to think you were mocked for arguing Bournemouth was our level or comparator.
Nordic Saint Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Imagine the meltdown on here if we lost 4-0 at Burnley We haven't won any of our last 4 games against Burnley so it's not much to imagine,is it?
Nordic Saint Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 And to think you were mocked for arguing Bournemouth was our level or comparator. Well, they're not: they're a level above us nowadays.
Pamplemousse Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 4-0 now lol Watford are down to ten men though Our next opponents after the international break are Bournemouth
Heisenberg Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 and people here dont rate eddie how.!!! It's been a bad couple of years CB Fry and Lord Duckhunter.
Cabbage_Face Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Bournemouth, better players, better transfers and better manager. Not rocket science. Get over it.
Dusic Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Bournemouth have what we don't: pace, energy, a clear style of play, ambition to wins games and confidence.
shurlock Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Well, they're not: they're a level above us nowadays. Precisely.
Heisenberg Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Puel v Silva going as predicted... #cashedout #easymoney

LGTL Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 We’ll probably beat Bournemouth. They usually bottle it against their bigger neighbours. And if they do stuff us, well they’re still Bournemouth, but at least Nick Gregory would be pleased
Pamplemousse Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Yeh they do have a tendency to bottle it against us, quite funny really considering it's their cup final.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 The same praise being heaped on Boscombe could equally be applied to the Redknapp era at Portsmouth. They’re following the exact same business model. I thought the consensus on here was that wasn’t the way we wanted our club ran, but it appears some on this thread would prefer that. CB Fry Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 It's all falling into place for a triumphant return for Nigel Adkins some time in December.

Batman Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 (edited) Exactly, people conveniently forget that they're bankrolled by a Russian. with such superstars like dan gosling, simon francis, steve cook, charlie daniels, david brooks, junior stanislas and ryan fraser Edited 6 October, 2018 by Batman

There net spend last 6 years is less than Fulhams from this summer alone!! Comparing Pompey in 2006 to AFCB in 2018 Just admit u were wrong about Howe and move on
hackedoff Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 with such superstars like dan gosling, simon francis, steve cook, charlie daniels, david brooks, junior stanislas and ryan fraser We have the superstars,at least that's what our wage bill depicts. Yet these also rans are embarrassing what we've got.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 I think that the praise was being heaped on Howe rather than Bournemouth, and well deserved it is too. Showing us what a well run, stable club can do. Nope, it’s just not Howe. Laughable that some consider them stable and well run. Were Portsmouth stable and well run. Let’s revisit this in a few years, then we can see just how well run they were. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

whelk Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Fcking Newcastle. That is our only hope of survival
OttawaSaint Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Oh ffs, Utd now giving Newcastle a leg up. After giving 3 pts to Brighton and WHU they’ll no doubt be fine when they face us.
doddisalegend Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 listened to the Bournemouth game on Solent 4-0 is an excellent result having said that Watford had to play two thirds of the game with ten men and Bournemouth got the rub of the green on the reffing front. What Bournemouth did do well though was counter attack at pace something saints haven't done well since Koeman.
doddisalegend Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Oh ffs, Utd now giving Newcastle a leg up. After giving 3 pts to Brighton and WHU they’ll no doubt be fine when they face us. Guess the Man Utd players are making sure the "special one" gets the sack I expect they will perk right up as soon as his gone just like Chelsea did.
davefoggy Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 I bet we wouldn't be able to beat the current United side....
OttawaSaint Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 I bet we wouldn't be able to beat the current United side.... Which one, Manchester, Newcastle or Torquay?
OttawaSaint Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Mourinho playing the Southampton way, countless free headers in the box. This performance is shocking.
SNSUN Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Oh ffs, Utd now giving Newcastle a leg up. After giving 3 pts to Brighton and WHU they’ll no doubt be fine when they face us. While I agree, it won't be losing to United that will see us relegated, it'll be losing to the teams in or around the lower third of the table, or throwing 2-0 score lines away against the likes of Brighton. Mourinho definitley looks a gonner though. McTominay, Smalling and Shaw is now their back 3. Newcastle could have a much better goal difference after today.
Dalek2003 Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Down to 17th! Seems to be our level. Who would have predicted that a couple of years ago?
Dark Munster Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Yep, the "special one" is in full "sack me so I can bugger off with millions" mode. When do we play them? No doubt a first class manager will have been installed by then and they'll be back to their best.
Dark Munster Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Down to 17th! Seems to be our level. Who would have predicted that a couple of years ago? Someone predicted it a couple of years ago and got it completely wrong.
Matthew Le God Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Down to 17th! Seems to be our level. Who would have predicted that a couple of years ago? Why have you conveniently forgotten you predicted Saints would come 17th in seasons they actually did significantly better in?
Pamplemousse Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 As funny as it is to see United lose at home, bad news for us that Newcastle are winning.
Saint Benali Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Fair play to Newcastle though. Rafa came with the plan to attack them from the off. We would have defended on mass. I bet Utd get back into the game off of some bull****. The ref has been awful.
OttawaSaint Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Wow. Shocking miss by Matic. Even Long would have scored there.
Badger Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 2-1. Come on Man U! *vomit* Sickening to have to want Utd, Spurs, and sometimes even VD et al, to win, but we need others to continue to drop points.

whelk Posted 6 October, 2018 Posted 6 October, 2018 Bayern losing 3-0 at home. Real Madrid going to lose again. Giants are crumbling
