Roo1976 Posted 3 October, 2018 Share Posted 3 October, 2018 Would it or could we be intrested in re-purchasing him as our right back in january?........dosent seem to be involved at Southpool...i liked him as our right back, but yes understood he wanted to move on as most of those that have gone before, but could we tempt him back here as a loan for the rest of the season? tajjuk Posted 3 October, 2018 Share Posted 3 October, 2018 Cedric is a decent right back. He's been part of good sides here and internationally. Signing someone else to replace him won't help our team when we're still badly managed. We need another attacker and a centre back to replace Hoedt. Beyond that, we just need to reduce the squad size and get some decent coaching. Clyne is probably better going forward, and Cedric IMO at the moment smacks of a player too comfortable in his position and not really challenged. (same with Bertrand), he is a good player and has been very solid as a right back, but is not up there at his best at the moment. But the team's shape and system is not really helping any of our defenders at the moment, we need a manager that actually has a philosophy of how he wants to play and offers more protection for the defence. Hughes seems to have no clue at the moment as to how he wants us to play. The issue with Clyne is his fitness.
Cabbage_Face Posted 3 October, 2018 Share Posted 3 October, 2018 (edited) Bumped into him in 90 degrees VIP area night before a match, he was a massive twit. Wouldn't allow anyone to take photos and sent his "heavies" in when you asked. Polar opposite to Aaron Ramsey, who was a really nice chap and allowed people to take photos after club had closed.
