Anyone who takes corners with their laces needs shooting. Unfortunately without Prowse Ward-James our corners are woeful.

Cedric's done well in my opinion. I've probably been his biggest critic on here but he's been one of our better players, defensively he's certainly improved.

Not much in it with real quality lacking for both sides.

 

I would like to see more overloads out wide, between Ings and Austin it is worth trying to get some service in (or Austin off with Redmond or Armstrong behind Ings for more movement).

 

Hoedt is not having his best game, lacks composure at times.

 

Hoj probably been our best player so far, has shown good close control and looks to be playing with more confidence.

Seems to be a comedy of errors everywhere on the pitch, our passing is appalling. Why isn't Bertie getting forward for the return pass from Redmond and why has Cedric been told not to run to the bye line as he used to do. Surprised everyone is criticising Redmond, he was one of the first players to do something positive and since then has always looked bright, not giving the ball away needlessly.

 

I get frustrated with his cutting inside but feel today he’s done it at the right times.

 

Just makes so much sense to bring Austin on against tiring defenders rather than play him from the start. Beggars belief that Hughes can’t see that. Also there’s no excuse for someone yet to reach their thirties not to be fit enough.
