John Boy Saint Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Sounded like a clear penalty against us....not given. Push from Stephens. Dont be silly its that shandy pants big girls blouse Richarlison, Gladys in the Goodison tea room could let out a little botty squeak and that bugger would go down.
OttawaSaint Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Jack Stephens taking on a few gobby scousers, good, I like it. This is the kind of character and fight we need to see us out of this rut. We're so passive at times. I'm not expecting anyone to go full Prutton but a bit more passion is needed. That's what makes Bertrand such a poor choice for captain.
CB Fry Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Female pundit has a lovely face.Plus Iain Dowie for the ladies.
SaintAndy14 Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 This is the kind of character and fight we need to see us out of this rut. We're so passive at times. I'm not expecting anyone to go full Prutton but a bit more passion is needed. That's what makes Bertrand such a poor choice for captain. Completely agree.
doddisalegend Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Oh FFS Hughes deciding to sit on a 1 nil lead why?
Wes Tender Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Why take off Gabbiadini for Davis? Why not Romeu?
OttawaSaint Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 FFS Davis on for Gabbi. We're starting the retreat.
hackedoff Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Hughes begins to shut up shop and hold what he's got. We know how it pans out from here on.
Pamplemousse Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 This is the kind of character and fight we need to see us out of this rut. We're so passive at times. I'm not expecting anyone to go full Prutton but a bit more passion is needed. That's what makes Bertrand such a poor choice for captain. Couldn't agree more.
OttawaSaint Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Hughes begins to shut up shop and hold what he's got. We know how it pans out from here on. This is worrying. We've seen this so many times.
Pamplemousse Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 The momentum is shifting... Christ we should've got that second goal
doddisalegend Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Jesus Everton going for the kitchen sink attack formation.
Edmonton Saint Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 I don't understand the thinking. Davis isn't going to offer anything as usual, slow and ponderous and won't help attack or defence.
OttawaSaint Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Walcott on. I think we know what happens next.
Pamplemousse Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Well in theory we should be able to control the midfield, they've completely abandoned that area of the field
Suhari Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 So it sounded like 3 at the back worked ok (so far).
Saint Fan CaM Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Oh cwap, Walcott on...you know that means we throw it away.
OttawaSaint Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 I don't understand the thinking. Davis isn't going to offer anything as usual, slow and ponderous and won't help attack or defence. If shoring up was the plan then Romeu is the man for the job. Davis should be out out to pasture.
Edmonton Saint Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 If shoring up was the plan then Romeu is the man for the job. Davis should be out out to pasture. Yep exactly.
whelk Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Whatever happened to loyalty points system? Anyone who has made their way up there tonight should get a couple of thousand.
Pamplemousse Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Rangers is the obvious destination for Davis, can't seem him staying beyond the end of the season. He's been a good player for us over the years, but it's probably time to move him on.
Adkins' Bus Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Scouse commentary were impressed with the link up play between gabbi and ings. Also said Yoshida has been impressive while lemina and hojbjerg have dominated midfield
doddisalegend Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 God Lemina is confusing he can look sublime at times and league 2 level at others often in the same game.
BallBoy Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Here we go. Just at the point where we think we might actually win....
whelk Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Rangers is the obvious destination for Davis, can't seem him staying beyond the end of the season. He's been a good player for us over the years, but it's probably time to move him on. Put out to underrated pasture
Suhari Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Scouse commentary were impressed with the link up play between gabbi and ings. Also said Yoshida has been impressive while lemina and hojbjerg have dominated midfield Just described us as balanced and composed.
OttawaSaint Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Sounds like a very luck escape there. Officials didn't see what the comms thought was a penalty (or free kick, don't know). EDIT: doesn't matter, the inevitable has happened.
mrfahaji Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Oh cwap, Walcott on...you know that means we throw it away. hmmmmph
Cabbage_Face Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Hughes out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pamplemousse Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 And there you go Yoshi bulled off the ball by Niasse
nta786 Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Tbf id choose a 1-1 then penalty kicks win over a 1-0 win. Dont ask me why
Sheaf Saint Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Walcott on. I think we know what happens next. Inevitable wasn't it.
Jonnyboy Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Although we've been sh*te these last couple of years, we have actually had some cup excitement to make up for the league. #jinxitffs
Katalinic Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Everton were 100-1 to win just before they scored
Edmonton Saint Posted 2 October, 2018 Posted 2 October, 2018 Yet again Hughes and his stupid substitutions have seen us lose all our momentum. We were on top, looking for a 2nd. So he brings on Steven ****ing Davis? God help me.
