I care enough/i'm stupid enough that i'm going to this. As always i'd rather we concentrate on this and the FA cup over the league, it's one of the two chances for silverware we have and is far more important than a competition we're never going to win.

 

Can't see us taking more than a couple of hundred up there sadly, which given it's a real chance to win at Goodison (something we've only done 5 times in our history) is a bit sh*t.

I'm sure this has already been answered somewhere else, but why is our game being played a week later than all the other ties?

 

Because of sky games / Liverpool at home this week, they couldn't have it the same night as that.

Everton and Chelsea both played on Sunday and didn't want to play Tuesday. Liverpool and Chelsea have European football next week so our game had to move.

 

Obviously we'll get knocked out but at least we still get the buzz of being in the 4th round draw (live on freeview channel Quest 9pm Saturday night prime time slot )

 

I think we'll take a few more than a couple of hundred but won't be many. Perhaps 800 at most. Will be like the good old days of late 90s away following, spread out and stand where you want with plenty of spare seats.

Meh, it's an hour away, cheap tickets, game under the lights, what's not to like? Probably just the result, but hey ho.

Slightly improved chance of seeing the likes of yoshi and Gallagher given a chance.

 

I think that will be the case and TBF the result will no doubt hinge upon how many changes / how strong a team each manager puts out !

I reckon we are going to revert back to 532.

 

No matter what formation, I do not want to see Hoedt playing. Awful player.

Austin should be no where near the starting line up either.

Please ring the changes. Lose this and Chelsea and Hughes will be on a knife edge. You’d hope the board learn from last year and act far sooner.

Nope ... and not likely to even feature on any dodgy streams. Round of CL fixtures on that night.

 

Another night with Adam Blackmore and Merry Davidton on Solent I guess as per previous round.

Wouldn't mind that at all, a few who could stake a claim. Davis may be a bit lightweight in there, but hell, can it get any worse.

That rule is pretty flexible now- think Fiorentina played last week themselves in a Serie A game

To the fans going to this - fair play to you. I hope we put in a performance - I assume Everton will change things around so we'll see if we can get a result, knowing us we probably will.

Well sadly my tickets for this have turned up, what with Wolves just gone, this midweek and Chelsea on Sunday i'm probably going to hate going to games by the end of the week
