Smalls Posted 18 January, 2009 Posted 18 January, 2009 The over riding factor is we are losing to all the sides around us. If we lose to Norwich next week end then that will be the final nail in the coffin. How sad to see the club decline so much in 5 years. This is every bit as the Leeds saga IMO.
Delmary Posted 18 January, 2009 Posted 18 January, 2009 We're as good as down. Our team of inexperience youngsters are ill equipped to fight a relegation battle.
Nadia Sllim Posted 18 January, 2009 Posted 18 January, 2009 That defending yesterday was very poor. Does training include defensive marking or tactics. Pretty little triangles win **** all.
Spudsaint Posted 18 January, 2009 Posted 18 January, 2009 Yep, it will all be over by Easter in my opinion, although some of the morons on here remain in denial. Roll on admin. A small price to pay if it gets rid of Lowelife and silences all his apologists.

We are not heading for League 1... I have watched a struggling League 1 side recently. We are heading for League 2.

Yep, for the first time I'm finally willing to admit that without some major changes at all levels at the club we're doomed, and even with major changes there's still no guarentee that we won't be doomed.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 18 January, 2009 Posted 18 January, 2009 We are in a freefall increasing in speed as the season continues, with relegation inevitable unless drastic action is taken NOW!! If we continue with this current clueless board and coaching set up who knows how much worse we will get and how far we will fall... Makes me sick....:smt078

That's an important point. I think the damage may be too much to recover from. Even if we clawed back our decent mature players, the way they have been treated has been scandalous and it would be difficult to see them wanted to give everything for the shirt. We'd need some manager to pull this off... and patience to realise that he's been handed a near impossible task. One thing is certain the Lowe/Portaloo plan has FAILED. We are 100% going down and I predict a red line to be drawn over us around early April.
badgerx16 Posted 18 January, 2009 Posted 18 January, 2009 We're as good as down. Our team of inexperience youngsters are ill equipped to fight a relegation battle. As I posted yesterday on the post-match thread; Davis, Perry, Saejis, and Saga, lined up with Surman ( age 22, appearances 100+ ), and BWP ( age 23, appearances 100+ ). That is 6 out of the starting 11 who most definitely are NOT 'inexperienced youngsters'. There might not be strength in depth in the squad, but those players should have been more than capable of turning over DONCASTER ROVERS ffs !!!
Saint_Jonny Posted 18 January, 2009 Posted 18 January, 2009 I cant get my head round saints being in league 1. I just cant. Its pathetic.
