striker Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 There we go. We are creating chances, I think the attack we have out there looks fine
S-Clarke Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Ings deffo our best player out there. Makes the movements, pickups good positions, stretches the opposition. Just a shame about the defence, which never gives us a chance to build a foothold.
St Marco Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Good corner and good finish! Come on Saints keep this up and we can get something!
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 There we go. We are creating chances, I think the attack we have out there looks fine Don't think people are complaining about the attack tbf.
Heisenberg Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Ings coulda had a few today, horrible feeling Everton have another gear here.
doddisalegend Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 A goal!! can our defence keep us hanging on in there while we get another one ?
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Ref is generous to Everton there against Lemina
doddisalegend Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 **** me another yellow is that most of the back line on a yellow now. Someone's going to get sent off.
saints-til-i-die Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 So you're suggestion is to flip flop again, with no plan, to another different manager? What did people expect today? We have Hoedt in the side alongside Stephens and Cedric at right back, we're not going to keep a clean sheet. I’d have not flip flopped with no plan. I’d have gone for someone better in the summer. I’d have picked someone to deliver the style I want as an owner/chairman. Wagner perhaps? We have more resources than most teams. Even if we struggled the first year I really feel a manager could build a better style. Who honestly thinks Hughes is a long term appointment? I’d have stuck to a plan that I had, a clear style of play and a determination to develop young players. If I didn’t work so be it. It’s better to fail with a plan than become a Stoke, Villa, West Brom etc with no plan and constant misery. It’s my opinion. I don’t expect people to agree and that’s fine.
Baird of the land Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Gabbi didn’t look impressed by that sub.
whelk Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Wtf?!?! Long??? Poor Gabbi I assume Gabbi just hoofs balls out of Staplewood all week in training?
Cabbage_Face Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Hoedt can do one. Bellend Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Crab Lungs Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Hoedt reminds me of lundekvam in his early days. He’ll come good, with Thor as partner. Ings is the best forward we’ve had in a while, a real handful. Can’t judge anything on Everton away, it’s always horrendous up there. What the actual fkkk.
OttawaSaint Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Richarllson down again. Spends more time on floor than anything else.
Saint Albert Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Wtf?!?! Long??? Poor Gabbi I would have preferred Gabbiadini. Who knows. Perhaps today is Long’s day to score.
St Chalet Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 I would have preferred Gabbiadini. Who knows. Perhaps today is Long’s day to score. Perhaps I’ll bed Kylie. Technically possible but ****ing unlikely.
shurlock Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 I would have preferred Gabbiadini. Who knows. Perhaps today is Long’s day to score. Clear we're under instructions to hit the ball early and stretch Everton down the channels - Long is more likely to give you that willing runner than Gabbi.
OldNick Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Be fair - he did take us from 17th to 17th. It was a statue-worthy achievement that surely no mere human could've pulled off. Those 2 wins in 8 games were fully deserving of a 3 year contract. Probably longer. A lifetime appointment, perhaps. He single handedly SAVED us from finishing in any other position than the one we were already in. (I'd have thanked him for his bare-minimum service and brought in a proper manager in the summer, but the majority view here seems to be that Mark Hughes is pretty much as good as it gets for a club of our standing and ambition. So, I guess we should strap ourselves in and enjoy the ride/death spiral.) Sent from my F3311 using Tapatalk Ha de Ha, it was 2 wins and draws that saved us. With a squad that was down and need lifting. I thought you were brighter than that but you can join Unbelievable in his gang.
OttawaSaint Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 I would have preferred Gabbiadini. Who knows. Perhaps today is Long’s day to score. Hope so. Last minute, huge deflection to win 3-2 please.
Heisenberg Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Never thought id say this, but need to get the ball more to Redmond.
Norm Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 My final post, we are shocking in defence with very average, if not very poor, CB's. Regardless of today's result, I see a long season ahead.
Saint Albert Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Tosun turned Hoedt there and almost ended up clear on goal. I think it was Cedric that saved Hoedt’s blushes.
Saint Albert Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Bertrand and Redders have linked up well in the second half.
shurlock Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Tosun turned Hoedt there and almost ended up clear on goal. I think it was Cedric that saved Hoedt’s blushes. Thick c**t didn't even realise he'd been turned as he carried on running
Edmonton Saint Posted 18 August, 2018 Author Posted 18 August, 2018 Terrible ****ing defending, but luckily offside...
OttawaSaint Posted 18 August, 2018 Posted 18 August, 2018 Dear oh dear too easy. Hold on. Offside. Phew.
