Wilf Posted 15 August, 2018 Posted 15 August, 2018 I notice we haven't had a vote for MoM for the Burnley game; I was thinking of tracking MoM votes through the season to see how we rate players over the season. Still time to start with Burnley?
Saint Garrett Posted 15 August, 2018 Posted 15 August, 2018 Difficult to say, probably McCarthy, Vestergaard or Redmond. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Wilf Posted 15 August, 2018 Author Posted 15 August, 2018 Can someone set up one of those vote things?
norwaysaint Posted 15 August, 2018 Posted 15 August, 2018 There tend to be more MoM polls after a win.
tajjuk Posted 15 August, 2018 Posted 15 August, 2018 Be interesting to track the MOM awards from media or other sites compared to the Saintsweb opinions as well. The BBC gave MOM to McCarthy on Sunday, whoscored had him as their highest rated player as well, with Vestergaard 2nd.
Pamplemousse Posted 15 August, 2018 Posted 15 August, 2018 McCarthy just shades it IMO, Vestergaard a close 2nd, Redmond 3rd.
Saint Pete Posted 15 August, 2018 Posted 15 August, 2018 Yep, McCarthy for me - without his saves in the earlier part of game, we'd have lost. Good performances later on from others, but McCarthy MoM for overall impact on result.
aintforever Posted 15 August, 2018 Posted 15 August, 2018 Redmond for me, looked our most dangerous player by far.
angelman Posted 15 August, 2018 Posted 15 August, 2018 Vest for me. Close but maybe as it was his debut in a new league......
SFC Forever Posted 15 August, 2018 Posted 15 August, 2018 I went for Vest as well though would have had joint best if possible
