Maybe not, but interested if anyone knew the circumstances, as I'm sure many/most fans would prefer we had stripes instead of full red back of the shirt.

Pretty sure Bournemouth have stripes on the back too...there is no regulation, we just chose to have plain backs.

Maybe it cuts down production costs a wee bit ,so they can squeeze a bit more out of all those who must have a replica shirt every year.
