wessex saint Posted 2 August, 2018 Posted 2 August, 2018 Apologies... haven’t seen this elsewhere so thought I’d start it. Soooo, Weds night. Yoshi, Cedric, lemina, redmond not involved. Started with maybe 7 of Hughes’s favoured starting XI. I would like to think that the starting XI on Saturday will be much closer to his idea of our best first XI. Possibly still without yoshi as he’s just come back. In other news, BVM are bringing 800 so it may feel like a real football match rather than a training game My suggestions: Don’t sell targett... he looked decent on weds. Gabbi is key, he looked really bright v celta vigo... just play a system that gets the best out of him. Flog Forster.. even if it’s at a loss. Hs obviously not required so get him off the wage book. Yeah, I forgot to get my free ticket in time, the deadline was 08.00 on the deadline day, ho hum, so I've made other commitments. We've got a full week to debate amongst my crowd which pub to go to, but KO time against Burnley means we may well have to adjourn to a different one afterwards.. In other news my ST arrived this morning so the anticipation can begin. It's a bit like Christmas: when you're young the anticipation starts earlier, now you wait a bit longer but it's still there.

My print at home tickets didn’t work the other night in the turnstile, so we (and others) had to be checked in through the big exit doors by folks with hand scanners, mine didn’t scan still so the guy tapped in the detail off the ticket. I’d say give it a go.

Could be a very boring season. I'd say the responsibility is on Bertrand a Targett to get good crosses into the box for Austin and Gabbi to make use of.
