What is this thread?

 

Basically we started a compost using all the whiniest nonsense we could find on other threads. Some posters have contributed more than others. Not mentioning and names but they always seem to be popping up on this thread.

With respect Lighthouse, it is not the whiners here who are the problem, it is the serial abusers.

With respect lighthouse, it's the serial abusers who throw around horrid and unsubstantiated slurs like far right, racist and islamaphobic that are the real problem here.

As ever, when called on your beliefs you obsfurate. You do it all the time not only when defending yourself but also the likes of Trump, Hopkins, Rees-Mogg, Johnson, Yaxley-Lennon etc. See the pattern? You are a busted flush pal. “Socialism is dangerous” :lol:

I guarantee he wouldn't have that record this season if he was still here.

 

He needed a clean break to get his confidence back, and playing in a decent team does wonders for that.

I think the main thing to remember at this time is that the Halloween displays are all out in the supermarkets and there are some absolutely massive family trick or treat packs out there. Like them bags you get a new duvet in, some of them.

 

Something that will certainly give some people something to cheer.

Keep him, Yoshida and Steven Davis and we'll have a decent spine to the side.

 

Many on here are arguing that next season in the Championship will be straight relegation down to League 1 but I don't agree. We can stay up if we keep a couple of our important players.

I was under the impression that only 3 teams get relegated and that there are more than 3 beneath us. Also it is only mid-October but we have played some of the hardest games in the first half of the season. If only one of the chances we had yesterday had gone in, say, one of Pierre-Emile's shots, today's discussion would be quite different.

As for those who like to blame the manager, how was it Mark Hughes' fault that Charlie took one touch too many when he was one-on-one with their keeper?

More than a bit clumsy, this.

 

Obviously you wouldn't ever want to bother reading a thread since your purpose isn't to make any sort of intelligent comment, but repetitive boring trolling.

 

Sadly though, the clear majority of posters feel that we were better than a top six team, should have won and thoroughly deserved at least a point. Yes, our frustrating low conversion rate of chances continues, but whilst we're making chances, there's no doom and gloom.

I was referring to 3 or 4 years ago when people were arguing we were a solid top 8 club and giving the impression that the only way was up. The trouble is, I was so far ahead of the curve that it was difficult to argue my case as you had to look very carefully to see the evidence and signals of a trend downwards. Only a few other posters were as astute as myself and they were also drowned out.

The result today is secondary. As long as we see a lot of youngsters playing today then we'll be happy. We can't keep persisting with the same old dross who've relegated us this season as they won't even be with us in the Championship. Obafemi, Gallagher, Gunn, Jones, O'Connor, Smallbone and Valery all need to start so they can begin getting some serious experience.

 

This season is now all about next season. We'll have a local Derby to play as well, we had better be f*cking ready.
