Thread counts, post counts and viewing figures are UP on this forum. You do talk some ****.

Seriously can you stop baiting people and just debate things in a sensible manner? It is clear that some people have stopped posting here because they are sick of the same stuff. I would argue that a big reason for this is because of the position saints are in. I'm starting to get sick of the same old problems and nothing being fixed. If lowe goes and we appoint someone like Aidy then I would expect a ot more activity on here (the 5 pound thing has also reduced activity.)

Any chance of repeating that in English, not Medway chav speak:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

1. I was born in S London if if anything a ****ney not a Chav.

2. Nicely avoided answering the question.

3. What did you intend to door to poor old Jan if your got your hands on him exactly?

Sorry but SOG is talking some right nonsense. It is a FACT that this forum has grown a lot in recent months and when he argues the opposite he's living in cloud cuckoo land.

The £5 fee initially had an impact because it was new, but joining is easy and at the end of the day £5 is not a lot of money. The forum costs a lot to host so i have no problem with the mods asking for a small contribution.

He never had it to lose.;)

Leave the poor fella in peace, let him have the last word and then let him get back to reading The Square:smt044:smt044

And you are just as bad. In the past six months the standard of your posts have got ten times worse. They are horribly biased and often aggressive and sneering at others who don't believe the same things as you. I thought you were better than that.

I lol'd. I know it's wrong but it's funny as **** seeing SOG lose it.:D

Stanley, obvoiysly in your world people "lose it" not in mine. What is funny is watching a bunch of supposed grown men act like a bunch of babies and throwing their dummies out of their prams because their football team is currently rubbish.

Grow up mate. We are all gutted about the situation, but not all of us want to go and beat people up because of it.

This forum is nowhere near as big as it used to be. It isn't even as busy as it was 18 months ago.

Once again Stanley, putting words into my mouth. I said the more middle of the road and reasonable people are leaving. Frank's Cousin doesn't post so much any more either and I can't blame him as he gets load of stick from the knee jerkers.

Fights start over disagreements in EVERY aspect of life, not just in football.

The only difference is with football is that more often than not i'd bet on a lot of alcohol being consumed by at least one of the fighters.

You're getting weirder by the day.

Where has anyone said they want to beat people up?

If I could be bothered I could find plenty of examples.

Go on then. You can't be bothered because you know you are talking out your arse.

Yeah Ok, thanks for that critique.

For biased, read opinion.

Still impressed with Lowe?

Still don't think it's jan's fault?

See this is the problem. I really truly respected your views and what you had to say. I use to go on the view all posts button for you, franks cousin, weston, saintlee and even Keith back in the day. Its very sad that you have changed so drastically in the last six months (I mean look at the sarcasm in that reply!) Your arguments used to be very sound And I found myself nodding in agreement. As soon as Lowe came back you took every opportunity to have a pop both at Lowe and the people willing to give him a chance. You have sneered and looked down on people. At one point in about November it looked like this experiment may be working but all you did was say how deluded people were for believing in it and giving abuse to people that were willing to see how it panned out. The experiment has not worked but I can't see any pleasure in adopting your attitude from the outset. Now all you do is post derogatory remarks about other posters and moan about Lowe (not saying I disagree with a lot of those.) It's very sad and I imagine I'm not the only one who has begun to skip over a lot of what you have to say.

The forum as a whole is a lot worse off for it.

I supported Jan Poortvliet, stuck up for him at times and have been to every game possible, giving my vocal support as loudly as I could.

I always wanted to be proved wrong, said I would only be too happy to eat humble pie and was always as opitimistic as I possibly could be (e.g. have a look at my pre match predictions!).

But optimism has be tinged with realism and it gives me no pleasure to sit by and watch this Club disentegrate as one man undertakes an absurd experiment in a massive gamble with our Club, aided by those who blindly follow it.

I have rarely abused people (the odd noddy such as SOG who deserved it excepted), but instead have been forceful in my view that those welcoming Lowe back and those championing this "Revolutionary Coaching Set Up" are actaully doing this Club harm. It's not called hindsight, instead foresight that Lowe's decision to employ Poortvliet was driven by all the wrong motives.

And in expressing this opinion I have come in for alot of stick and abuse over the last few months (and your posts above are another example), so please spare me the sanctimonious replies.

If I've been more curt recently, then just as was demonstrated at the match yesterday, I think I, along with many thers have reached the end of their tether with regards the shoddy way this Club has been run recently. Only this morning I was suggesting we shouldn't adopt a, Told you so attitude, but instead be united going forward, so with the exception of SOG baiting, maybe we should all be looking forward.

Often it is not what you say Steve but how you say it. I was simply suggesting that many have taking exception to the patronising tone of a lot of your replies. Feel free to dismiss my comments as abuse but there was no malice involved. I am genuinely saddened that you have lowered yourself to be part (and often the ringleader) of the pettiness and oneupmanship. In no way am I suggesting that my posts are perfect at all but I really think you could do with thinking before you post a bit more sometimes. Obviously it is different at the moment when things have reached breaking point, but you have been this way for quite some time.

Try not to react in a patronising or aggressive manner to other posters and you will almost certainly return to being a thoroughly interesting and informative poster.

Feel free to take offence but if you do then you have missed the point somewhat.

You're hardly an angel now are you? I've noticed many of your posts over the years have been sacrcastic in the tone of a jumped up school boy. You criticising other posters is a case of the pot calling the kettle black and just the same as when SOG gets on his superior high horse.

With that being the case how come you don't go to games then Bern?

You can't criticise people for not giving the club revenue when you don't go yourself!

I can if they give it to someone else instead Daren.

I stopped going to live football regularly back in the 70s because I was playing at weekends myself. For various reasons I never got back into the habit (young kids, distance, cost, working etc etc) but I still try and go a couple of times a year as a treat.

I did plan to move nearer and get a season ticket when I reached this age but that hasn't panned out due to personal circumstances and the expense of going to matches nowdays. I earn half of what I was earning 9 years ago. I just can't afford it.

I would never stop going because of a board member or because of the league we play in as some do. I accept that is there choice. I just find it very, very sad.

I've spoken to Steve about this in private and I won't be discussing it again on here. As I pointed out to him, my posts are far from perfect and in my opinion are often worse than Steve's, it's just that I feel his have declined markedly whereas mine have always been consistently poor! Anyway the matter is closed as far as I am concerned.

Steve, you and your nephew really should be running this club shouldn't you? You know so much more than everyone else. You can even tell what kind of accent someone has without ever having spoken to them!

You come across like a lover scorned. So, after giving Lowe you whole hearted support in the past you are now bitter and twisted because he has let you down.

The thing about nailing your colours to a mast is that you either have to stick with it or, if you decide to rip them down, your are stuck with the mental anguish of having done so in the first place. In must be hard for you eh?

I on the other hadn, having no agenda with any Chairman or CEO can sleep soundly at night nowing that all of the people that have run this club from year dot have made good decsions and poor decisions and that life continues to go on the next day.

So then Steve (and your nephew) what is your grand plan for getting this club back on track?

Yours truly, Noddy.

Your posts never fail to amuse me.:rolleyes:

Whole hearted support, nailing your colours to the mast, bitter and twisted, seems like you've entered the fiction aisle again.

The simple fact is that I judge people by their deeds and actions (although I will always be only too happy to accept mitigating circumstances).

I don't blindly offer my support to someone, nor do I blindly hate someone just for being them (although I might break a habit of a lifetime just for you;)).

I have consistently judged Lowe by his actions over the years and do not find it all contradictory to have praised someone when they have done well and to have criticised them when they have failed.

I struggle to understand how you can think that is not a sensible and rational approach to life, and in fact Lowe himself suggested that in this results driven business we should judge him by his actions.

Times change, people change, circumstances change and even most of the best leaders will eventually reach their sell by date.

The earlier part of Lowe's tenure contained many bright spots and I have never shyed away from praising him, just as I criticised many of his poor decisions and strategies during his latter and new tenures.

As a temporary custodian of this Club he should always be judged by how successful the Club is under his stewardship. The latter stages of the last tenure were disastrous for this Club on and off the pitch, something that he has sadly replicated again during this tenure.

Bern, no one is saying that if yo can't afford to go then you're not a proper fan or can't discuss the club but you're way off base with this "Away supporters put money in other clubs pockets" bullsheet as you can't wipe out a hundred years of away support as being somehow disloyal to the club as it's not their revenue...

I fully understand your reasons for not going but Matt's reasons for not going to St Marys are just as viable and just as valid. You just can't criticise someone for not going to a game when you don't either. It's hypocritical.

Whether you like it or not Matt's paying money to watch his club. He's made a conscious decision as t o where he spends his money as have you....

I believe he was the owner till he gave it to Tris? Something like that.

No, me and the farmer started it together. Then a certain person who posts on here hacked it and i shut it down and called it a day. then Saintstalk became 4ES with me no longer involved, then it got shut down, then i reopended it again and don't really bother with it now.

I know what you are saying Darren, I just find it odd that he choses to give his money to the oppositon. How does that help HIS club? This club needs the revenue of its support base whether Lowe is here or not. Isn't not going becuae of one man a bit like cutting off your nose to spite your face?

Does his, or others boycott make any differnce to Lowe? He went and he has come back and all these "sacrifices" seem to do is to damage SFC further, not Rupert Lowe. Even if we do end up in administration there is no guarantee that Lowe will depart. In fact in some ways it might be better that the club gets itself into a healthier position, it might then be a more attractive prospect to someone else. I can't see people queing round the block to buy a third tier club can you? If, by some miracle Lowe does manage to keep the club afloat, that might lead to his departure.
