Soulful Odin Posted 26 June, 2018 Share Posted 26 June, 2018 No insider information, just your gut instinct on the formation and team for the next season Personally, I think we will emulate England with the 5-3-2. Based on Tadic potentially going and us reinforcing the midfield with a goal threat. Would also be similar to how we finished the season with Tadic and Austin in front of Lemina /hoj/ Romeu McCarthy Cedric - Yoshi - Gibson - Hoedt -Bertrand Romeu Armstrong - Lemina/hoj Austin Gabbi/redmond Thoughts? Pamplemousse Posted 26 June, 2018 Share Posted 26 June, 2018 Hughes played three at the back with Stoke I seem to recall? Wouldn't be all that unlikely for us to use it as our main formation this season.
SaintZamboni Posted 26 June, 2018 Share Posted 26 June, 2018 Revert to 4231 Some decent coaching and additions will see this work well for us again
Lighthouse Posted 26 June, 2018 Share Posted 26 June, 2018 I think the team in the OP would get relegated, lacks any sort of creativity in midfield.
JxgrSaint Posted 26 June, 2018 Share Posted 26 June, 2018 Armstrong scored 17 season before last (when he was fit); no reason to class him as "not creative"
Dusic Posted 27 June, 2018 Share Posted 27 June, 2018 Armstrong scored 17 season before last (when he was fit); no reason to class him as "not creative"Austin scores goals but is one of the least creative players I can think of. (We are selling our most creative player)
