What's your good, bad and ugly moments from the club this past few years?

 

Good

Cup final

Still in the Premier League

Milan trip / Europe campaign

Yellow and blue away kit

Watching Alex McCarthy step up and dislodge Forster

 

Bad

Club communication

Selling best players

No Saints players in England's 2018 world cup squad

Good: Cup final

 

Bad: selling so many players and not replacing with decent quality/the decline of the academy

 

Ugly: people using the word ‘recycle’ when referring to patterns of play in football by some on this forum. No football people use this, it is from rugby and is ugly as fug

We have had the best few seasons ever in the PL we have had European Football a Cup Final a Semi Final something we could only dream of a few years ago but now we are back where we normally are which was always likely

Yep, the Milan trip was great... especially as it meant that fans that rarely go to see Saints play got to travel to Italy and stay in posh hotels...

Good: We are still in the premiership.

 

Bad: We nearly got relegated from the premiership.

Good: 5 Saints players in England squads in 2013 (3 in main squad, two in u-21s - first time 3 players in squad since 1986)

Bad: no Saints players in England's 2018 world cup squad

Ugly: this thread, it wants fans to give 2 negative points and only one positive. Should be 2 positives and one negative.

Nah we will be told by the happy clappy gang that he's 29 and therefore has very little resale value (ignore Higuan £75m and Costa £55m sales please)

 

We will also be reminded about VVD and the implications of not selling Tadic when he wants to go (strikes, disruption, general littering, team spirit ect)

 

Finally we will have a number of hypothesis that asks if we didn't agree to this low release clause would Tadic have signed his new and bumper contract in the Summer of 16?!?! :suspicious:

 

Probably end up filling this under good

Window still open so stay optimistic. Pretty good at present, more strengthening / restructuring (including the essential firepower) and possibly very good.
