Lin Wood tweeted "President Trump @realDonaldTrump is a genuinely good man. He does not really like to fire people. " I think you'll find he does, Lin.

Trump retweeted the message that continued by saying that the Governor and Secretary of Staet in Georgia, both Republicans, should be sent to jail as traitors.

Donnie taking care of the important things in the current crisis;

US President Donald Trump has issued an order that future federal buildings across the country must be "beautiful", and preferably built in a classical Greek, Roman, or similar style.

Bit like in Italy; you can always recognise Fascist era public buildings..

Pardoning convicted fraudsters who support him is bad enough, but pardoning the Blackwater team responsible for the murder of women and kids??

Education Secretary's brother's company Blackwater.

Just a few more weeks left.

I think he's going to stick prawn shells down the backs of the radiators in the white house right before he departs though....

Twitter is shadow banning like never before. A disgrace that our weak and ineffective political leadership refuses to do anything about Big Tech. They’re either afraid or stupid, nobody really knows!

Erm Donnie. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this before but you're.....

Latest failed Court case: an attempt to get the Courts to instruct VP Pence to ignore the Electoral College votes when Congress meets on Jan 6th, and replace all EC votes from the swing states that Biden won with votes for Trump. Trump supporters believe that the VP has the Constitutional power to unilaterally declare the winner of the election regardless of the actual vote.

On top of that,  upwards of 160 Republicans have said they will object to the EC  vote count on Jan 6th. Truly the  greatest "democracy" in the world.

I see that hyper-Trumpist lawyer L Lin Wood has just called on Twitter for the arrest and execution by firing squad of Mike Pence.  Seems logical, from his deranged POV.

BTW, an anagram of L Lin Wood is Wild Loon.

I wonder why Twitter haven't banned him?

The more the loonies post, the more it undermines their credibility. Outright bans on his closest aides would feed directly into Trump's derangement. I hope that the Dems win the 2 Georgia run-off elections on Jan 5th, especially if the MAGA dickwads stay away from the polls because they are 'rigged'; Trump would have directly undermined his own party's majority.

He is a pitiful excuse for a human being let alone a president. ‘The data you have is wrong’ lol

Attempting to interfere with or subvert an election official carrying out his official duties is a Federal offence, as well as an offence under Georgia State law..

From the full Washington Post report;

"“Oh this isn’t social media,” Trump retorted. “This is Trump media. It’s not social media. It’s really not. It’s not social media. I don’t care about social media. I couldn’t care less.”"

It might be just my imagination but this photo of Cruz looks like Chris Moyles has had a few too many cans at Leeds festival, got up on stage and started ranting about how ‘it’s all the Jews fault, they control the media.’

Wednesday is going to be interesting. Popcorn at the ready.

Surely this represents clear evidence of both federal and state crime. If he even bothers to turn up to Biden's inauguration, I would love to see the feds there waiting to arrest him the moment Joe is sworn in.

Don't forget the 2 Georgia run-offs tomorrow. 2 quotes from Republican campaign officials ahead of a Trump rally in GA later today:

“The president’s ability to exceed expectations when it comes to how unhelpful he’ll be remains undefeated,”

“No one has any rational reason to believe it will go well. The likelihood of a total, complete, absolute shit show is off the charts. If disaster is avoided, it will be sheer dumb luck.”

Regarding Georgia do both seats go to the same party or can there be one each?

Can be one each. They are two separate elections run because no candidate got more than 50% of the vote last time. The lower scoring candidates have been disqualified and just the two who polled the highest votes remain

One of key Trump supporters, Leader of Neo Nazi Proud Boys arrested for burning a flag, and looks like Trump will follow at some stage. Cruz and others have disgraced themselves by backing Trump’s efforts at enforcing a one party state, let’s all hope for the sake of democracy that the Democrats win both the Georgia senate seats so the Republicans can focus on finding someone to clean up their party post Trump. Makes Kinnock’s clear up of Labour in the mid 1980s like a walk in the park

The reason they are backing Trump is purely self interest - going forward they want to harvest the support of the MAGA/Qanon cohorts, and don't care how far down the rabbit hole they have to go to get it.

Donnie has yet another lawsuit in Georgia denied.

As regards the EC tally in Congress tomorrow, with at least 6 motions to challenge filed, that could be 6 two hour "debates" that have to be held, meaning the result might not be concluded and made official until Thursday.

"I will personally work to defeat every single Republican Senator / Congressman who doesn't stand up against this fraud - they will be primaried in their next election and they will lose," ---- Eric Trump, son of Donald, on Twitter

Also from CNN:

Add to that Donald Trump, Jr., who reminded Republican members of Congress during a rally Wednesday morning that in the upcoming vote, they can choose to be a "hero" or a "zero." "The choice is yours, but we are all watching,"

...........................................

"Don't gloss over what is happening here. The President of the United States -- and his sons! -- are openly threatening sitting Republican members of Congress with political opposition."

The Democrats say they are happy to sit back during the joint session today and let the Republicans tear their party apart.

There was a good analyst on CBS last night saying that many senior Republicans have been working on the basis that once January 20th is over Trump will disappear and they can get back to reuniting the party - but that isnt going to happen, Trump isnt going anywhere. The party's major problem is that Trump got elected by bringing in new supporters - the MAGA types - but then alienated a chunk of the traditional George Bush type base. How and where do they find a candidate who can appeal to both because one on its own is not enough to get elected.

I've been watching CNN today. A lot of commentators believe that the Republican Party could split between the "sensible" ones and the Trump diehards.
