Does anyone even post on there still? I tried joining last year when I joined up here, got blanked. Messaged them many times, no reply. Have they shut down?
Was Doc, SOG by any chance? Similar Abbr.

Never in the field of Internet discussion boards have so many people with contrasting opinions on a broad variety of subjects been so united in their loathing and despair of one individual.

A sure sign that the MSM has won. Their propaganda is so strong it is believed by millions. If only these channels would tell the truth about Hilary and joe on the other side.

I don’t even look on there anymore. I left a while back and decided not to bother. Had a look from time to time and it was really dull, few decent posters like Pat from Poole and Frannies tashe but that’s about all not even looked on there for about 6 months

Don't spoil his totally misguided sense of having gained a minor victory. His ego needs the boost.

Americans would have a far better quality of life that way.

I presume that is a quip but if serious please elaborate.

Easy, far stricter gun laws so less chance of a being gunned down by a MAGA nutcase, much lower crime rates in the main, far lower cost of living (Toronto 44% less than NYC), miles better healthcare system for much less cost, public education system similarly streets ahead. Consequently, more socially inclusive overall, a consequence of better educational attainment.

The only advantages to the US are slightly lower taxes (but you gain so much more quality of life in Canada, unless you are hardcore MAGA/GOP) and the weather. Both have great natural scenery so score draw there.

That's half the story. What about the rest under Mexican rule?

Saves the cost of building a wall 🙂

And deportation. Elon's DofGE could start with the cost cutting by abolishing ICE.

Hopefully this will start to turn the tide back on the favour of sanity and put an end to all this nonsense

An awful lot to like about many of his executive orders.

Hopefully it doesn’t lead to more hate towards people who are different

Yes let’s hope so but also let people know they can’t choose from one of 68 different genders depending on how they feel that morning and everyone should bend over backwards to accommodate that

Can’t really disagree with anything he’s saying, put America first, look after our own people, make the country great again etc

shouldn’t that be the aim of every leader of every country rather than pandering to political correctness

Hopefully it leads to just the right amount of hate towards the right type of people.

If he is banning "all censorship", how will that go down in those States operating book bans in schools ? Will mention of 'alternative genders' be permitted if legally there are only 2 ?

You're probably alright if you're not prompting anal sex to children.

To Kill a Mockingbird, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Catcher In The Rye, The Diary of Anne Frank. All of these have been banned in some school districts and public libraries.

Yeah that's stupid. Not sure what the justification for that could possibly be. Americans are a bit weird tbf.

What's the point of raising a generation of remote controlled assassins, when their trigger words could be read out by any class reading of Catcher in the Rye?

Of Mice and Men was also on the list. Now Richard Gere might disagree, but I have reservations about such relationships.

I know he's a reasonably bright bloke to achieve what he has to date, but one snippet on the radio had him saying he will...

Raise pay, reduce inflation, lower taxes, fix services, put America first and basically give everyone what they want.

Maybe he really is the clever one able to convince an entire nation (of thickos) that all that can be achieved at the same time - even a basic grasp of economics will show that it cannot all be achieved simultaneously.

And removing all the cheap labour. Prices are just going to plummet for everyone

I guess the revenue is coming from Panama, Greenland and Mars?

Yep. Staggering that the majority of Americans think that they can get lots for nothing.
