The whole point of the tide thing was to prove to his courtiers that he wasn't all powerful, and could not command the tide to turn. Mind you, Trump seems unable to convince his handler to do anything. Edited Thursday at 14:39 by badgerx16

badgerx16 Posted Thursday at 15:39 Posted Thursday at 15:39 (edited) After fundingcl cuts to the VA, and in the wake of the other cross-departmental budget reductions and program closures, Pete Hegseth has spent thousands of dollars converting a room adjacent to the Pentagon press room into a makeup studio. Gloucester Saint Posted Thursday at 18:12 Posted Thursday at 18:12 Feebly asking a Russian dictator and lunatic to stop bombing another country like he’s a cat scratching furniture is not going to work. Bombing Moscow’s power plants and shutting their capital city into darkness, that might.

badgerx16 Posted Thursday at 21:10 Posted Thursday at 21:10 Trump has said that the fact Russia has not taken over the whole of Ukraine is a concession on Putin's part. 1
Patrick Bateman Posted Thursday at 21:12 Posted Thursday at 21:12 Every time I see this thread, I'm still baffled that someone "appreciates" this prick. 4

We were better off getting him bumped off as an inside job, which I think would have happened if Trump hadn’t have kissed Putin’s arse. Very hard to win that war in the battlefield even with the aid Ukraine were getting but Trump has totally misread Russia and made a twat of himself with all the pronouncements around ending the war in a day or a week. New leader could be just as bad but you could get a Gorbachev. 1

spyinthesky Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I was speaking to a US client today. He reckoned that Trump's new mate Mr Tesla, was able to tap into the voting machines ie those which were accused of fiddling Biden's victory, and ensured that Trump won this time round. No idea if there is any credence in this but just suppose that Musk had been a supporter of Biden and this rumour was circulated amongst the MAGA mob, it is likely that another violent protest, stoked up by the Orange One, would have been on the cards. 1

The 'Russian Tail' theory was something I had never heard of before and possibly may be relevant to the Brexit vote. Steve Bannon was apparently caught on audio prior to the 2016 US Election predicting that Trump would be ahead in the early stages of the election due to the fact that a lot of Republican voters live in small communities where it is relatively quick to collate and submit votes. As a consequence it was agreed that Trump would declare victory midway through the vote knowing that the larger population areas were expected to vote Democrat in larger numbers. MAGA supporters were primed to believe the election result was rigged and this they did with aplomb.
spyinthesky Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Just read an article about a guy called Dennis Montgomery. Anyone who hasnt heard of him, its worth a look at his background. I reckon his story could be made into a great film, dovetailing into stories on Mike Lindell (the Pillow Man) and other snake oil salesmen and purveyors of right wing nonsense.
badgerx16 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) If you don't want to watch the whole of this video, at least watch the first embedded bit, taken inside a Court House, and then think how the image of plain clothed, masked men, with no visible ID or valid warrant, putting people into unmarked vehicles compares with Central and South American right wing dictatorships; Edited 2 hours ago by badgerx16
