cf saint Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Really poor from Liverpool players not to go to Karius after the game- fair play to the Liverpool fans for applauding him when he went to say sorry. He lost them the final and has likely ended his career but he is human and my TV feed didn’t show one first tema player go to him, first one was Bale.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 FFS BT commentators still spunking over Liverpool. Disappointed aren't they..... Shame.... Mcmanaman is a prize ***** too
DT Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Karma, sweet karma Haha. Bad luck Virgil you tit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saint-Fred Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 It was funny at the time but Karius just **** the bed in the biggest game in club football. Hard not to feel a little sorry for him. He may have a hard time recovering from that. Lol I don't feel sorry for him at all...earning millions to play a game? Get a life man. How many finals has Klopp lost now? Micky "I feel that Liverpool have a special relationship in this cup and they are destined to win" Quinn will be funny to listen too next time he is on the radio...like the rest counted his chickens.....
beatlesaint Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Of course Nivea boy was ****e, he hasn’t played virtually all season. How the hell he can seriously be on standby for England is ridiculous
californiasaint Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Funny that the same who slag off the management for putting mediocrity on the field get upset when star players reach for something Southampton will never give them. Watching former players compete is the closest Southampton will get to Champions League football, and the club has entirely accepted this. Why begrudge the players who have seen the writing on the wall, or teams with the ambition to chase trophies? It's as small minded a mentality as the leadership.
Portugalsaint Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 (edited) Ironic that after all the players they’ve nicked off us they end up getting dicked by an ex-Saint. This has got to be quote of the thread Edited 26 May, 2018 by Portugalsaint
S-Clarke Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Love the fact that it was Bale who put them out. Made in Southampton.

That's not the case at all, we're all very happy for Gareth Bale
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Will there be a minutes silence at the first game next season at scousefeild to morn klopp losing his SIXTH final
Shroppie Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Thought it was absolutely appalling that no Liverpool players showed any sympathy towards Karius. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Lord Duckhunter Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 That'll be Liverpool buying a new keeper then. You’d think so, but Klopp seems to have a blind spot when it comes to keepers. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Saint Albert Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 How many finals has Klopp lost now? Several. He’s lost several.
angelman Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Very pleased for Bale. Madrid have treated him pretty poorly sometimes, both the club and fans.
stknowle Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Oh well Liverpool, never mind. So gutted for them and just wish anyone other than Bale had scored the 2 goals that ****ed them over??????
Pamplemousse Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 I will be very disappointed if we do not have some chants about Gareth Bale next time we play them.
waylander Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Sorry if it upsets you but if you think any Saints fans are gonna shed tears for Lovren, Lallana and VVD you must have been living under a rock. We would have happily banked the milestone payments if they had won with 4 ex-Saints playing.
Shroppie Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 I will be very disappointed if we do not have some chants about Gareth Bale next time we play them.I think "Gareth Bale, he's one of our own" will do nicely. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Whitey Grandad Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 We would have happily banked the milestone payments if they had won with 4 ex-Saints playing. What milestone payments might they be? There was no money in it for us.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Hope someone is going to post the crying pics of those two p ricks.
beatlesaint Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 We would have happily banked the milestone payments if they had won with 4 ex-Saints playing. It was reported last week we wouldn’t have got a penny for them winning it
suewhistle Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Just back from a crowded pub, fewer pints and less stressed than when I watch Saints but still enough. Observations: 1. Golly, there were quite a few ex-Saints players in that game, weren't there? 2. Who'd be a keeper? Plenty of us on here have probably played in that position, some when forced to. We may have done a better job tonight.. 3. Renew McCarthy's contract quickly! 4. I'm not going to look at the thesaurus but... chortle, snort, hah, snig ger, smirk, LOL...
Whitey Grandad Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Who’d be a manager? You buy a defender for the highest price ever paid and when three goals go in against you he’s nowhere to be seen
trousers Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 I think "Gareth Bale, he's one of our own" will do nicely. This
Saint Albert Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Bale went a little off script after the game... https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/44267094
St Chalet Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 The Gao’s would have happily banked the milestone payments if they had won with 4 ex-Saints playing. I’ve fixed that for you.
beatlesaint Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Bale went a little off script after the game... https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/44267094 well he won’t be signing for Liverpool .......
californiasaint Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Sorry if it upsets you but if you think any Saints fans are gonna shed tears for Lovren, Lallana and VVD you must have been living under a rock. There's a difference between shedding tears and acting with class. I don't trust many in this thread to know it.
DuncanRG Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 If Madrid were gonna win I'm glad it's Bale that did it. What a goal

Can’t see too many hating Mane, Bale or The Ox had he played. I think most accept our place in the food chain, but we can’t accept players acting in such a c**tish way to the club.
Saint Albert Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 There's a difference between shedding tears and acting with class. I don't trust many in this thread to know it. Well, I suppose we could all try showing the same kind of class that VVD showed us last summer...
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 There's a difference between shedding tears and acting with class. I don't trust many in this thread to know it. Please explain how Lallana, Lovren and Van Dyke acted with any class???
californiasaint Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 This really is a bizarre and ridiculous post. It's only bizarre to those who expect players to show full loyalty to a club who won't give it back to them. Management has shown time and time again that they are unwilling / unable to invest in players. Why throw a fit when others come along who will? If the Saints were better, no one would leave. The problems start at home. Blaming Liverpool is what the management would do. (And did, for VVD, and our season if you were to believe them...)
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 Tesco Express in Bootle now sold out of candles. ..
suewhistle Posted 26 May, 2018 Posted 26 May, 2018 You don't seem to appreciate it's _how_ players move. Mane doesn't get stick (even though it was perfectly obvious he used us as a stepping stone), nor does Clyne, or Schneiderlin or Wanyama, all players we really miss. If you don't understand _why_ that is I suggest you do a bit of research before posting on here. Most of us here are pretty realistic about our position in the pecking order of clubs and the finances involved...

It wouldn't be so bad if 'chasing trophies' was their sole motivation but they ain't won any Have they.? They should be honest and say I want the money Because that's what they've got, shed loads of it and not a little bit of silver wear to be seen.Hypocritical bastards the lot of them.
