100%Red&White Posted 18 May, 2018 Share Posted 18 May, 2018 Any recommendations for all day parking near a Tube station outskirts of London, either street parking or car park? Driving up from Southampton arriving mid/late morning, back to car late but before midnight. Haven’t done it for a few years, used to drive to Richmond/Wimbledon/Hounslow and jump on the Train/Tube but things may have changed since then. Ta. 100%Red&White Posted 18 May, 2018 Author Share Posted 18 May, 2018 OK, cheers all - had a look at Kings Mall Hammersmith but would cost £50, but will take a look at other suggestions. Ta - 3 posts and out!
trousers Posted 18 May, 2018 Share Posted 18 May, 2018 (edited) I usually park at Hatton Cross station (outskirts of Heathrow) if I get a tube into London. Parking = £12 flat fee per day. Quicker to get a mainline train all the way though... Edited 18 May, 2018 by trousers
Tamesaint Posted 18 May, 2018 Share Posted 18 May, 2018 Kew gardens is very convenient. Just off the a3. Nice area so no vandalism. Free to park after noon. Both district line and Overground go from there.

moonraker Posted 18 May, 2018 Share Posted 18 May, 2018 Hounslow West, cheap all day parking at the tube station or loads of free on street within 10mins
Gemmel Posted 19 May, 2018 Share Posted 19 May, 2018 Cheers Gemmel - should have added it will be a Friday so does that get rammed with commuters/shoppers by mid-morning? No, there is always room and its cheap. Take the 2nd left from BP petrol station on the A316 (Its a straight road from the avenue - M27, M3, A316) and then turn right at the end of that and left and then immediately left - over the pedestrian crossing and turn right _ King Mall will then be on your right (That will save you 15 minutes avoiding the flyover and roundabout etc.)

Better to drive the extra 5 minutes to Hounslow West (£5.50 the day still I think) and a much bigger car park. Also Hillingdon car park is huge. Depends where in London you wish to go I guess. Yeah Hounslow West is somewhere we used a lot a decade ago, fairly straightforward to get to and large patrolled NCP car park alongside Tube station (used to be free at weekends). Checked and you’re correct, £5.50 all day (24 Hour parking), think I’ll probably use this again. Ta for all advice.
