Lighthouse Posted 16 May, 2018 Posted 16 May, 2018 Not to mention the Puel and Clown payoffs. And also throw in £10m or more lost position money from our appalling season. If I were Gao I'd sack Bunsen and Beaker for £40m in lost revenue. I'd like to think the club doesn't budget on such principals. It all sounds a bit Leeds Utd, planning on high league positions to balance the books. Hopefully we're budgeting on a midtable/bottom half finish and the last 4 top 8 finishes have been something of a bonus. I don't know what we'd have paid Puel and MoPe but that would also be offset by the £7m we got from Everton for Koeman.
austsaint Posted 16 May, 2018 Posted 16 May, 2018 When the dust settles on this, Everton will have spent £20M in manager payoffs to Martinez, Koeman and Allardyce in the last 2 years. They may still have to compensate Watford for Silva, as well. They are a cluster**** of a club under Moshiri. Put it in context though; we payed out nearly the same amount for Carillo! Silva will do well at Everton.

Mr Saints Posted 16 May, 2018 Posted 16 May, 2018 You reckon Everton wont try to poach Hughes at the 11th hour ? I wouldnt be so sure. If Hughes isnt appointed Saints manager in the next 24 hours, I reckon something is afoot. lol
Saint_clark Posted 17 May, 2018 Posted 17 May, 2018 These dinosaurs getting million ££ pays every season, coupled with their transfer back handers, they must be laughing all the way to their Cheshire mansions !!Getting 2 or 3 years worth of contract paid in one season over and over...genius, really. Gingeletiss Posted 17 May, 2018 Posted 17 May, 2018 I may be wrong (you can come in any time MLG, and help!), but these manager payoffs are to pay up their remaining contracts, but reduced, should said manager be re-employed during that period. As stated, I may be wrong.
