Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 24 July, 2018 Posted 24 July, 2018 Some Everton ITKs claiming it's closer to £20m guaranteed with some large add-ons including Everton winning the league. At £20m he's worth the gamble. Certainly looks better value than our Carrillo £20m The Beeb are suggesting it's £35 million up front with the rest add-ons.

Batman Posted 24 July, 2018 Author Posted 24 July, 2018 The Beeb are suggesting it's £35 million up front with the rest add-ons. It’s weird that some outlets are pushing this as a £50m deal. When it obviously is not
doddisalegend Posted 24 July, 2018 Posted 24 July, 2018 It’s weird that some outlets are pushing this as a £50m deal. When it obviously is not Doesn't that happen with just about every transfer? There always seems to be several different reported fees when a transfer goes through. I imagine the selling club include every add no matter how unlikely while the buying club gives the lowest possible basic fee sans any add ons either that or the press just pluck some random number out of the air..

SuperSAINT Posted 24 July, 2018 Posted 24 July, 2018 Schurrle close to Fulham move. SCHURRLE CLOSE TO FULHAM MOVE Borussia Dortmund forward Andre Schurrle is flying to London tonight ahead of a medical tomorrow at Fulham. Sky Sports News understands that Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic has secured the signature of Schurrle ahead of a number of interested clubs including Crystal Palace and AC Milan. The German international was released from Dortmund’s tour of the US to discuss the move.
Saint Garrett Posted 24 July, 2018 Posted 24 July, 2018 Rob Green to......Chelsea...that’s the end of the Forster hope then...
Lighthouse Posted 24 July, 2018 Posted 24 July, 2018 £40m (ish) for a player who has: 1. Played one season in England 2. Scored 5 goals - 2 against relegated teams, 2 against Everton and West Ham when they were dog sh*t and one against Bournemouth 3. Not scored in his last 26 PL appearances. Wow

Scored 5 goals - 2 against relegated teams, 2 against Everton and West Ham when they were dog sh*t and one against Bournemouth 3. Not scored in his last 26 PL appearances. Wow Mental money for someone who had a good first 10 games at Watford. Most attacking players theyve signed in recent windows have struggled. Sigurdsson, Bolasie, Klassen come to mind
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 25 July, 2018 Posted 25 July, 2018 Absolute desperation http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11671/11447594/everton-complete-deal-to-sign-richarlison-from-watford-on-five-year-deal I guess they were worried about getting no one and had to pay utterly stupidly to get someone to come... Mugged off
Pamplemousse Posted 25 July, 2018 Posted 25 July, 2018 Makes the Carrillo and Boufal signings seem fairly reasonable...
angelman Posted 25 July, 2018 Posted 25 July, 2018 Usmanov noises about selling his 30% stake in Arsenal. Wonder whether he will be picking up from his frontman at Everton, or maybe he already has? If so, it will be interesting how he swings that one. Guess he could buy Moshi out, which would be like paying himself.
SuperSAINT Posted 25 July, 2018 Posted 25 July, 2018 Kouyate to Palace? Sky sources: Crystal Palace are in talks with West Ham United over the signing of midfielder Cheikh Kouyate. SSN reporter earlier this window that West Ham were listening to offers and value Kouyate at around £10m
SuperSAINT Posted 25 July, 2018 Posted 25 July, 2018 Gelson Martins to Atletico Madrid. Hell of a signing on a free. ATLETICO SIGN GELSON MARTINS Atletico Madrid have announced the signing of Gelson Martins on a free transfer. The Portugal winger has signed a six-year-contact. Martins was one of a number of players who told Sporting Lisbon they were cancelling their contracts earlier this summer, citing ”just cause”.
doddisalegend Posted 25 July, 2018 Posted 25 July, 2018 Gelson Martins to Atletico Madrid. Hell of a signing on a free. If he turns out to be free. I can't sporting just letting all these players walk with out a legal fight. Can you imagine the carnage if they don't and it sets a precedent for players just to cancel their contracts every time they are unhappy?

doddisalegend Posted 25 July, 2018 Posted 25 July, 2018 They want £50M off Wolves for Rui Patricio... Yeah I think it will get very messy before it is finished. I imagine lawyers will be involved.
northam soul Posted 25 July, 2018 Posted 25 July, 2018 Brighton signing the Iranian linked on here then. Good season in Holland.
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 25 July, 2018 Posted 25 July, 2018 Brighton signing the Iranian linked on here then. Good season in Holland. Announced now. Be interesting to see if he does well and we've missed out.
Badger Posted 25 July, 2018 Posted 25 July, 2018 Newcastle signing Schar for £3m. Seems good value, especially as it was suggested we tried signing him in January 2017 for £5m, before Hoffenheim jacked the price up knowing our desperation and we walked away.

Seems good value, especially as it was suggested we tried signing him in January 2017 for £5m, before Hoffenheim jacked the price up knowing our desperation and we walked away. Ridiculous at that price, quality defender. Guess the black box didn't turn him up on our radar then.
danjosaint Posted 25 July, 2018 Posted 25 July, 2018 Yeah black box did, he was the one we pulled out of when Fonte left as Hoffenheim upped there asking price Just seen reply above
Convict Colony Posted 25 July, 2018 Posted 25 July, 2018 Wolves sign someone from Atletico MadridDo you think we can get mino Raiola involved in saints he has some decent players about, would go and ask him but I don't think he lives in Haarlem nowadays
SuperSAINT Posted 25 July, 2018 Posted 25 July, 2018 Do you think we can get mino Raiola involved in saints he has some decent players about, would go and ask him but I don't think he lives in Haarlem nowadays I think teams are definitely going to follow the Wolves / Mendes model.

Saint Garrett Posted 25 July, 2018 Posted 25 July, 2018 Promoted clubs certainly investing, can’t see Wolves or Fulham going down to be honest.
angelman Posted 25 July, 2018 Posted 25 July, 2018 Fulham have done a 2 year loan. Richarlison.....it seems that the huge fee did not include any compo for the Silva affair, as Watford are ramping up looking for some. Fair play to them.
pimpin4rizeal Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 £25m is food and drink for a decent proven player these days. You won't get much for less than the £20m mark. Begs the question when are we going to start spending food and drink money on players? I'm not by any means saying transfer fee guarentes success but feels like even the newly promoted teams are spending more then us now. Likes of West Ham starting to spend 30m plus a couple of seasons ago don't think that there was that money clubs outside top 6 that was willing to spend more then us, Everton maybe but feels like we are standing still whilst other teams ambitions grow

John Boy Saint Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 I was with my customer up in Wolverhampton yesterday, all the lads working there are getting giddy and can’t wait for August. Apparently their owner ain’t short of a bob or two and happy to live the dream, I guess when an alledged £10 billion drops into your pocket in the last year, the current silly football money is small change rattling round down the side of the sofa! The latest rumour that was doing the rounds up in those parts yesterday, and being taken with a pinch of salt was......you’ll love this and think it’s 1st April...........Rashford on loan!!!

Winnersaint Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 Same old same old every other team has recruited way better than we have. **** me what’s the point of even starting the season?
SuperSAINT Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 Newcastle move for Japanese striker. NEWCASTLE AGREE MUTO DEAL Newcastle have agreed a deal with Mainz to sign striker Yoshinori Muto for £9.5m, according to Sky sources. The 25-year-old Japanese striker is currently on a flight from Germany to Newcastle after they agreed a fee with Mainz. Muto player for Japan in the World Cup in Russia.

On that basis half the west ham team could just walk out after the troubles at their stadium last season. There is no way sporting can just let them go it will almost certainly end up in a legal mess.
SuperSAINT Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 Brighton signing the Iranian linked on here then. Good season in Holland. Brighton has spent almost £50m without selling anyone of note. Crazy!
doddisalegend Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 Brighton has spent almost £50m without selling anyone of note. Crazy! I think they had the smallest wage bill in the league last season staying up has given them a lot of cash and plenty of manoeuvre room with regards to FFP.
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 Brighton has spent almost £50m without selling anyone of note. Crazy! Living nearby, and knowing a few people who 'know', their owner is trying to push through a development on club owned land (housing plus an Ikea) that will allegedly give him back all he's spent on the club...
SuperSAINT Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 Newcastle sign Schar. £3m. Bargain by today's standards.
tajjuk Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 Fulham's business is decent. I seem to remember most were impressed by the loans of Sanches and Krywsiack last year, they didn't turn out too well. These ofcasts of bigger clubs are not always the best idea. He should at least know the league well though.
SKD Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 Newcastle sign Schar. £3m. Bargain by today's standards. Have to say I’m slightly Jealous of this one.
SuperSAINT Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 Have to say I’m slightly Jealous of this one. Nobody is allowed to have opinions on other teams' transfers on this thread (but I'm with you on Schar)
S-Clarke Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 Didn't Schar just have an awful season as Deporivo were relegated....?
skintsaint Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 Didn't Schar just have an awful season as Deporivo were relegated....? Think it was more due to his partner Jack Stephenez making him look worse than what he is.
Cartman Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 Didn't Schar just have an awful season as Deporivo were relegated....? Yeah. No idea where his inflated reputation on here comes from. Deportivo conceded more goals than anyone else and Schär was even dropped twice, once after a 5-0 defeat to Sociedad and again after a 3-0 defeat to Getafe.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 Yeah. No idea where his inflated reputation on here comes from. Deportivo conceded more goals than anyone else and Schär was even dropped twice, once after a 5-0 defeat to Sociedad and again after a 3-0 defeat to Getafe. Precisely, all our transfers are ordinary and all other clubs a top players..... apparently
Saint Albert Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 For those who thought the ridiculous Richarliason transfer fee would promote a cessation in hostilities, it looks like Watford are continuing to make a stand against Everton for an illegal approach for Silva last season... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/amp/football/44963596
saintsmike25 Posted 26 July, 2018 Posted 26 July, 2018 Everton losing 2-0 against newly promoted Blackburn Rovers... suppose there's a relegation meltdown on their forum as well.
