soton76 Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Totally lost for words..........Forest and now Donny both lost at home. I could do a better job than JP.
1965onwards Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 This season will not be a total waste,we have acquired a lovely picture of a train.
The Tango Man Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Wilde Lowe and JP have to go now ..it cannot get any worse..been a saints fan for almost 50 years and it has never been this bad. Please go while we still have a club !!!
Thedelldays Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 i know we dont have a team of world beaters....but we have a team/squad available that is better than this....
Ponty Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Unfortunate really. We scored. We conceded a second goal because we had removed our defence. We had no defence because we were chasing the goal deficit. We had a goal deficit because the ref is a myopic tw*t and didn't see a blatant offside. Bad luck.
brightspark Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 JP post match comments: Should have had pen Goal was offside New players played well Fighting spirit at 0-2 We lack confidence, we need wins Look forward to Norwich Saga is good player Truly awful. Hating every moment of the Saints timeline. HOW COME I SUPPORT SUCH A SH*T TEAM!!! CURSE MY DAD FOR GOING TO UNI THERE AND BRINGING ME UP A SAINT!!!
Windmill Arm 2 Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 More ****ing embarrassment, well Saintwarwick how did your goal machine McGoldrick do today? brilliant isn't he. This club is ****ing dead. Losing at home to Doncaster is a ****ing disgrace, the manager and the ****ing board need ****ing sacking, and McGoldrought belongs in the dressing room. ****ING USELESS ****S!!!!!!!
SO16_Saint Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 OH MY GOD. 3rd tier of English football here we come. if JP was to go, WHO THE HELL would want us?
AwaySaint1 Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Fans let us down. Northam should of gone on the pitch, the Sundays would of bit chunks out the board over the fans reactions. Police would of advised RL not to attend games etc.
teacher Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Rupert SACK THE MANAGER! He is clueless. I think that is it, league 1 next year. RIP Southampton FC.
yorkie Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Discontent will fill the hearts of all Saints fans - especially after last weeks result. Lowe will do nothing - he believes in Jan. Jan to go? Lowe to go? Saints to be relegated? Only one of the above seems obvious to me! Can't believe people will keep saying "Keep the faith" - we need a miracle now!
Martin Orford Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Route 1 Hoofball in now, please. Total football is totally useless.
Micky Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 I was out until the last 10 minutes - was the performance shyte or just the result..???
Colinjb Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 This is the lowest point Saints have every been in recent times. Sod knee jerk reactions, the proof is in the pudding. Every part of the club is out of it's depth.
Thedelldays Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 OH MY GOD. 3rd tier of English football here we come. if JP was to go, WHO THE HELL would want us? billy davies went to forest..the WERE level with us
Snowballs2 Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Lowe and Wilde MUST act now! Its time for Wilde to forget any difference he has with Crouch, he must get Lowe out NOW. The alleged bright new dawn of total football has failed, as had the using of the young players. We are destined for Div 1. Lowe will go down in history as the chairman that twice got us relegated. If they act NOW we can still survive, quite what the attendance will be at the next home game I have no idea, but, it can only get worse, and with it the finances. Stay away you non season ticket holders, and hope that it will get a change in both Manager and Chairman
badgerx16 Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Portvliet is a clueless twonk, and is completely out of his depth. Saints, Charlton, and Watford for the drop:(:(:(
saint lard Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 we can all look forward to Wotte/Gorre and Hockaday taking the helm if JP goes, insperational stuff eh.
countysaint Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Another great Monday with my clients around SCUMPY to look forward to. THANK YOU SAINTS...........you spineless bunch of ****s!!!!
St.JonB Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Rupert Lowe is the worst thing that has ever happened to Southampton Football Club. It's only going to get worse while he is here. The man is a ****.
Colinjb Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 billy davies went to forest..the WERE level with us We are not Nottingham Forest, they are a club that lets a manager get on with running the football side of things. We don;t work that way. No good manager at this level will want to manage us as a result. And because of that, the eccentric tosser Lowe must f**k off.
wheels Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 We're so relegated. We are an absolute disgrace. Spineless, clueless, a rudderless ship careering to League One. Useless ****s
VectisSaint Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 OH MY GOD. 3rd tier of English football here we come. if JP was to go, WHO THE HELL would want us? People have to get out of this mindset. If JP went now (as he surely must), and Lowe advertised for a manager, there would be a dozen or more good applicants, guaranteed. Whether any of them could work with Lowe is a different matter, but football managers all believe they can do the trick and turn a team's fortunes around. The problem is not alternatives, the problem is the arrogant, tosser who is chairman of this club and who will destroy it (or at least get it relegated to Div 3).
Dubai Saint Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Goodbye Jan, thanks for trying. **** off Lowe Spuds bottom of the league only glimmer of light
bridge too far Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 People have to get out of this mindset. The problem is not alternatives, the problem is the arrogant, tosser who is chairman of this club and who will destroy it (or at least get it relegated to Div 3). Won't that be the problem, if RL eats humble pie and sacks JP? Managers must have a grapevine and word surely would have got round that, with RL, they will have NO SAY in the team? How many half-way decent managers would come here knowing that?
charliemiller Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 I am even getting sympathy text from fish feckers ..........there is a protest going on outside sms and our own fans were fighting in the northam. How bad can it get. JP has to go
sun of spain Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 One win at home all season,is a total disgrace.Surely anyone with one brain cell or more, must now accept that we can't carry on like this ! All the excuses have now been played out, nearly every week the fans are insulted by lame excuses coming from the idiots at St Marys. Our club is now on its knees, something has to happen now to save the club.
Belgiansaint Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Just getting back home after a lovely afternoon. Dear me!
SNSUN Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 I'd rather ground share with Portsmouth than play at SMS at the moment. One win all season = relegation.
70's Mike Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Unfortunate really. We scored. We conceded a second goal because we had removed our defence. We had no defence because we were chasing the goal deficit. We had a goal deficit because the ref is a myopic tw*t and didn't see a blatant offside. Bad luck. boll**ks we lost because we have a manager who knows nothing about british football and a chairman who thinks he KNOWS EVERYTHING about british football
VectisSaint Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Won't that be the problem, if RL eats humble pie and sacks JP? Managers must have a grapevine and word surely would have got round that, with RL, they will have NO SAY in the team? How many half-way decent managers would come here knowing that? Football Managers are not necessarily too bright (bless them, at least in most cases), they will still jump at the chance, believe me. The only one with intelligence who probably would say no, is Iain Dowie.
dubsaint Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Oh my God, i have tried to be positive about JP till now, but something has to be wrong if he cant get the players wind up enough to beat a side like Doncaster at home, is Wise available to take over ?????
Saint Jimbo Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 i am speechless! clueless, players gave up, utterly sad, tactless decision making and a shambles. who cares we beat barnsley we lost to doncaster we are inconsistent and i certainly wont get my hopes up even if we do miraculously beat norwich because until we get in a manager who knows the english game and work the wonders billy davies is now at forest we will get relegated sod whats happening backstage its whats happening on the pitch that matters!! Poortvliet OUT!!
St.Patrik Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Its time tobgo home Jan - Saints needs a brittish manager who understand the way this game is played in England. So please leave now Jan !!!
Ponty Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 boll**ks we lost because we have a manager who knows nothing about british football and a chairman who thinks he KNOWS EVERYTHING about british football Which part of my post is incorrect?
del boy Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Sounds like we were unlucky again, good job were only 2 points from being out of the bottom three
aintforever Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Awful performance, Poortaloo doen't have a clue.
hackedoff Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 boll**ks we lost because we have a manager who knows nothing about british football and a chairman who thinks he KNOWS EVERYTHING about british football Got it in one. If anyone now still thinks that this useless " manager " knows what he is doing then you are thick .
Micky Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Sounds like we were unlucky again, good job were only 2 points from being out of the bottom three Amongst all the hysteria currently occupying most threads on this board - I wonder if this comment is actually nearer both the truth and the facts?
InvictaSaint Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Sounds like we were unlucky again, good job were only 2 points from being out of the bottom three I sincerely hope that is intended to be ironic! ONE WIN at home ALL SEASON. Presumably all the other defeats were all unlucky too? JP OUT - LOWE OUT
aintforever Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Sounds like we were unlucky again, good job were only 2 points from being out of the bottom three You obviously didn't watch the game.
Snowballs2 Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Which part of my post is incorrect? Ponty he thinks that your point that we lost because of an offside goal is a typical apathetic comment. We lost because total football, the dutch trio and a crazy chairman are not performing along with the team. Just look at all the other home results this season, you cannot use 1 offside goal in all honesty
corsacar saint Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Absolute f***ing disgrace, just F*** off Lowe with your cabal and dutch experiment, you [Lowe] as a football messiah[ha, ha, ha] have totally ruined our club almost beyond hope.
SoccerMom Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 Won't that be the problem, if RL eats humble pie and sacks JP? Managers must have a grapevine and word surely would have got round that, with RL, they will have NO SAY in the team? How many half-way decent managers would come here knowing that? You'll never get him to eat humble pie. narcissists don't. The only way to change things with a narcissist in control is somehow, somehow to make it seem like their idea. Not impossible, just very very difficult. If you can find a manager who is a top-drawer manipulator you might just be in luck.
Micky Posted 17 January, 2009 Posted 17 January, 2009 You obviously didn't watch the game. Did you ....?
