Lallana's Left Peg Posted 2 May, 2018 Posted 2 May, 2018 BBC Scotland very adamant he's a top target this summer. 12 months left on his Celtic deal. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43978875
LuckyNumber7 Posted 2 May, 2018 Posted 2 May, 2018 I've been wanting us to sign Rogic for about the last two years, a very good player. He's just what we need, a goal scoring midfielder with a physical presence and good on the ball. He won't be joining us in the Championship though sadly.
Matthew Le God Posted 2 May, 2018 Posted 2 May, 2018 (edited) He won't be joining us in the Championship though sadly. I wouldn't rule it out completely, even in the Championship we'd probably have a bigger wage budget than Celtic. Edited 2 May, 2018 by Matthew Le God
the saint in winchester Posted 2 May, 2018 Posted 2 May, 2018 I noted this on the Championship thread - let's not wait until summer; do the deal NOW. The lid is off the can, the cat is out the box. He's too talented to leave until summer. Offer a deal now.
the saint in winchester Posted 2 May, 2018 Posted 2 May, 2018 Celtic must truly hate us. Actually, Colin, I think it's the opposite to that. If you read the Daily Record article, they like us. They note how we have cherished Wanyama, Van Dijk and Forster, and would like us to the successful buyer again - if he goes of course, they would prefer him to stay. Ross Wilson, according to the article, was at Hampden at the weekend to see him play vs Rangers.
Saint 76er Posted 2 May, 2018 Posted 2 May, 2018 Celtic must truly hate us. I blame their manager’s lack of ambition, myself... However, this is exactly the type of player we should be persuing, not rubbish like Carillo at lunatic prices. Clearly, Les wasn’t consulted on this one, thank God.
Matthew Le God Posted 2 May, 2018 Posted 2 May, 2018 We can blow them out of the water for wage offers... Celtic wage bill 2016/17 = £52m Southampton wage bill 2016/17 = £112m If relegated parachute payments and sponsorship deals will still allow for a big wage budget.
Badger Posted 2 May, 2018 Posted 2 May, 2018 Is this as well as Stuart Armstrong who we've been linked with during the last few windows, and Dembele? ..and a CB or two of theirs whose names regularly crop up.
Badger Posted 2 May, 2018 Posted 2 May, 2018 I wouldn't rule it out completely, even in the Championship we'd probably have a bigger wage budget than Celtic. Could he be our 'skacel signing' for the Championship ?
