EFL to vote on end to automatic match programme publication

Some EFL clubs want to stop printing match programmes for every game.

The Football League has been asked whether publishing one for each league match should continue to be a requirement next season.

Clubs are concerned about declining sales and increased costs and will vote on the issue at their meeting in June.

The EFL will continue to produce programmes for all its major games, including the Carabao Cup final and all three play-off final

Haven't bought one since about 1986 so doesn't bother me, I expect some will be upset though not being able to pay for information that is free everywhere else.

Hey Hatch great minds think alike, yours is better than mine of course lol.

Whilst I don't always get a programme it is a tad sad this tradition is looking to be near its end,we all can view Vlogs

Not surprised really. This is the first season I've stopped buying a programme as there is so much information post-match, on-line. Have a pretty good collection going back to 1975 gathering dust in the loft though.
