I will be the first to say it. As a 5:30 kick off could it be that 1 point would be acceptable ?

Yes. Poor record there take a draw and beat Swansea.

4 points from The next 2 games will keep us up (not expecting anything against City).

In a way, you could level our current plight at Everton. They lure Koeman away, the boat gets rocked, Puel comes in and everything that happened since, happened from that moment.

What we're up against is Bournemouth rolling over against Swansea before we even kick off.

Not a chance judging by Ake's post-match interview. They're desperate for 1 more win to guarantee safety.

We must aim to win this one too regardless of what happens elsewhere. I hope today's win boosts the players confidence but it was more luck than judgement in the end.

Would be good to stick it to the worst set of supporters in the league. Allardyce out chants today, and a fan on 606 last week calling for the club to reinstate Unsworth permanently to take them to their rightful place in the top 6.......

It’s going to be tough, but I believe we can at least get a point from this. Hopefully we don’t get a Walcott sucker punch.

Wonder if we will now sell out our 3,000 allocation?

I am certainly thinking of going now

It would help. If we get three points we could very well escape !!!

I'm hopeful of a win.We should be able to get the three points.Toffees are safe and therefore wont be too concerned about winning.Fans today were outstanding so lets do again next week.

A win and a draw from our final 3 games should be enough to keep us up. With little left to play for, Everton may be our best chance of that win.

Everton played well today. Don't think Fat Sam will let them slack off.

Will the players be playing for him though ? Does seem some discontent there.

Surely our players will be too much in awe of their dugouts, floodlights and amazing atmosphere to have any chance of getting anything out of the game.

Everton should be happy where they are, but their deluded fans think otherwise. I would love it if one day they suffered relegation. Bigger clubs (Villa, Newcastle, Leeds) have suffered that fate, so it's within the realms of possibilities.

They would have done years ago if it wasn't for Hans Segars taking a bung.

1984. semifinal. Heath.

While I agree with the sentiment, not many of their current players (or ours) will have been alive to witness that travesty.

In Ibiza for the Everton and Swansea games

Would love to meet a few Saints fans in a pub somewhere.

Any recommendations?

Few places in the west end or head to Lineker's!

a lot will rest on the earlier games. Still trying to work out how we are still in this, we were near enough gone before kick off yesterday. A point might not be a complete disaster here.

Everton have jack to play for, and we have to hope there's enough players in the squad who might want to see the back of fat Sam.

If we score early (yeah, I know) then the atmosphere might sour because the fan base certainly want to see the back of fat Sam. It isn't a bad time to try and break our Goodison hoodoo.

I can’t see it, still plenty left including most of the upper tier, hopefully we shift another few hundred, we always seem to manage to take a lot more to Anfield than we do to Goodison.

We’ve nearly sold out 2000 for Swansea so perhaps people are saving themselves for that one.

Massive game but our record there is appalling, i was there for our last win on a Sunday on sky so hopefully being televised is a good omen. Need Everton to be as kind to us as they were at St Mary’s this season.
