"Nine teams have been two goals up at some stage in the match, only to lose or draw. Take a bow Liverpool, Southampton and West Bromwich Albion, who have all managed it twice."

"Half the sides in the league are giving the ball away over 50% of the time from goal-kicks. Burnley are worst, with their keepers passing to a team-mate just 40.7% of the time (Southampton, West Ham, Everton and Palace round out the five worst)."

Own goals: "Only Southampton, Everton, Liverpool, West Ham and Arsenal have not conceded any. "

"Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafi have combined beautifully for Arsenal to be joint top of the outfield errors that lead to goals chart. Alongside Southampton (top work Wesley Hoedt and Cédric Soares!), they have committed nine howlers that have led to the opposition scoring."

"We will award one penalty point for each yellow card given to a club’s player for dissent, with Manchester City leading on 12 (Arsenal and Southampton are not far behind on 11). "

Interesting but very subjective and tongue in cheek. No reason to highlight Saints or WBA's failings either as they are far from being the worst at anything. The whole thing is evidently rubbish as it has no correlation with how teams will end up in the league.

Up to 4th this season.... level with the equally inept Marco Silva & Everton FC.... ;)

"But that’s not the real story here. In 2016-17, Marco Silva had a hand in getting Hull to the top of the ineptitude index and, last season, he helped inspire Watford to top the list. This year, he’s made a good fist of getting Everton up there too. That takes some doing."

It would be interesting to see how we have done since Ralph took over.

It's the Manchester Guardian to give the rag its full title, that's all you need to know. Utter crap!
It's The Guardian, to give the newspaper its full title.
