OttawaSaint Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Well, at least the other fixtures have been OK so far. It's the hope that kills. You can almost imagine a fired up Saints destroying Bournemouth and getting a lift to go on a run...and then the game starts and it's the same tepid lazy cba ****.
OttawaSaint Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Wed be top of the league if it wasn't for these pesky refs noone is saying that.
5string Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Surprised the ref didn't give a free kick for a back-pass. Done. End.
5string Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 As said earlier - the authorities will be happy. 2 'big' teams in their 'big' final. Well, good luck to them - I won't be watching.
NewYorkSaint Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Enough signs today to suggest what might have been for our season. When Tadic, Redmond, Lemina, Austin do what they CAN do, we're a wonderful attacking side. Now we need them to find that magic for 4 games that will determine our future.
Saint Billy Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 As said earlier - the authorities will be happy. 2 'big' teams in their 'big' final. Well, good luck to them - I won't be watching. Did we really deserve to win that?.
Batman Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Just saying more rumours coming from the club that very few players have relegation clauses in their contracts and we have a huge problem in the summer should we go down
gordonToo Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Hughes game plan every game is to try and protect our fragile defence and hope we nick one at the other end. Much the same in fact as Pelligrino and Puel before that. The team just isn't PL standard.
BotleySaint Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Funny even if we were our usual selves last 18 months we'd probably still have been stitched up and got the same result.
Batman Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Much the same in fact as Pelligrino and Puel before that. The team just isn't PL standard. The defence isn’t. The back 4 under Ronald would be a hell of a lot different Last 5 years we are in positive net spend. This is the result.
Greenridge Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 In a season of many many shocking team and individual performances Lemina has somehow managed to surpass all challengers for the most abject display seen for some time.
Edmonton Saint Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Just saying more rumours coming from the club that very few players have relegation clauses in their contracts and we have a huge problem in the summer should we go down Les Reed and his arrogant legacy. He has been a disaster for this club, and why he is still employed after failing so spectacularly?
davefizzy14 Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Played well when we went to a back 4. Joke decision from the ref once again. Cannot believe VAR was not used. Charlie barely touched the Chelsea GK. Never mind, now just concentrate on survival in these last four games. COYR
doddisalegend Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Just saying more rumours coming from the club that very few players have relegation clauses in their contracts and we have a huge problem in the summer should we go down Probably explains why the players don't seem bothered by relegation then.....
gordonToo Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Just saying more rumours coming from the club that very few players have relegation clauses in their contracts and we have a huge problem in the summer should we go down If that is the case then the full board's resignation should be on Gao's desk come the end of the season.
Dalek2003 Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 If that is the case then the full board's resignation should be on Gao's desk come the end of the season. Agreed. It would confirm the complacency and arrogance that set in three years ago.
Wiggles31 Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Rubbish performance. Gifted Kante and Fabregas acres of space to control the game. We deserve to go down. The negative tactics (again) proved to me we deserve relegation. Get rid of the mercenaries and build again. Haven’t felt this distant from a team since the dark days. Waste of money and vocal cords.
OttawaSaint Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Hughes can also take his cheque and f*ck off. He’ll probably be seen all smiles getting a brown envelope in ****smouth.
Heisenberg Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Hughes can also take his cheque and f*ck off. Silva was always the man. Sadly we still have Les Reed making decisions
Chalkboy Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Just saying more rumours coming from the club that very few players have relegation clauses in their contracts and we have a huge problem in the summer should we go down I heard that on Talksport, but as it was Sam Matterface who said it I thought it was probably b*llocks.
doddisalegend Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Silva was always the man. Sadly we still have Les Reed making decisions I doubt very much Silva could turn the likes of Hoedt, Yoshida and Stephens etc into a better defence...
saint1977 Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 I doubt very much Silva could turn the likes of Hoedt, Yoshida and Stephens etc into a better defence... True, although he probably wouldn’t have let Reed get away with leaving him in that position in the first place and would have been quite voluable in the press about it - rightly so. That’s why Les IMHO would appoint him or anyone else that wasn’t as quiet as a church mouse or who stood up to him. It’s why he didn’t like Ronald.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Silva was always the man. Sadly we still have Les Reed making decisions Where is this much sought after star manager plying his trade at moment?
SKD Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 I doubt very much Silva could turn the likes of Hoedt, Yoshida and Stephens etc into a better defence... No but he might have made us better in attack. We gave Kante and Cesc far too much time on the ball today, crying out for someone to get us to press. Sit back with them 3 at the back is asking for trouble.
Convict Colony Posted 22 April, 2018 Posted 22 April, 2018 Just relegation to look forward to now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk your looking at this wrong, give us rumours starting in june, who will be the new boss and the fact that in theory we should be a good team with lots of money in championship we will be optimistic again by june 15. in before sunderland hahaha Personally I hope fulham dont get promoted and we poach the manager.
