Window Cleaner Posted 15 April, 2018 Posted 15 April, 2018 Had Chelsea played anyone else apart from their semi final opponents they might not have tried too hard to fight back. They had to against us so not to give us a psychological advantage for next Sunday. ****ing typical. They turned it up for a 20 minute session, quite enough to see off a Saints 2 goal lead. Anyway next week they'll thump us from the off more than like. I see us losing by 5 or 6.

They had to against us so not to give us a psychological advantage for next Sunday. ****ing typical. I assume you’re joking and not stupid enough to actually think this? The reason they fought back was because they changed formation and brought on a world class CF who bullied our weak and sh!t CB’s. He done the exact same for Arsenal earlier on this year. In the last 2 weeks we’ve had a great chance to pick up 6 points, but we simply cannot defend.
Micky Posted 15 April, 2018 Posted 15 April, 2018 West Brom will, despite going down, at least have the pleasure of beating United. We’ll just have the pleasure of beating West Brom. Twice.Eerrr three times. I was there for them all....! Highlight of our season. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
doc oli Posted 15 April, 2018 Posted 15 April, 2018 Oh yeah, the FA cup- are we still in that?.......
OldNick Posted 15 April, 2018 Posted 15 April, 2018 Well the football gods are against us,Swansea will have a Man City side after a title winning celebration.they will not be quite up for it like they would have been

CB Fry Posted 15 April, 2018 Posted 15 April, 2018 Here's me thinking Chelsea would want to qualify for the Champions League but it turns out they just want to win a game of psychological warfare against Southampron.

Saints foreva Posted 15 April, 2018 Posted 15 April, 2018 Well the football gods are against us,Swansea will have a Man City side after a title winning celebration.they will not be quite up for it like they would have been They'll want to get to 100 points imo.
Lighthouse Posted 15 April, 2018 Posted 15 April, 2018 Another big team having an off day against a team that isn’t us. ****ing typical. Apart from both games against Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd, plus our trip to City, and Spurs at home. Apart from those 8 games, I agree.
Batman Posted 15 April, 2018 Posted 15 April, 2018 They'll want to get to 100 points imo. And 100 goals maybe?
Shroppie Posted 15 April, 2018 Posted 15 April, 2018 They'll want to get to 100 points imo.And knowing our luck, we'll need a point to survive on the last day and they'll be on 97. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
Baird of the land Posted 15 April, 2018 Posted 15 April, 2018 Looks like we may have the ignomity of finishing bottom now WBA have learnt how to pick up points.
DT Posted 15 April, 2018 Posted 15 April, 2018 Looks like we may have the ignomity of finishing bottom now WBA have learnt how to pick up points. and with Jay Rod. Oh the irony.
ashnats Posted 15 April, 2018 Posted 15 April, 2018 and with Jay Rod. Oh the irony. If West Brom can make up a 5pt deficit (considering gd), why can’t we? Anyone who thinks we are already down, but also thinks West Brom will finish above us needs to check their math.
doc oli Posted 15 April, 2018 Posted 15 April, 2018 Jay Rodriguez apparently caught on camera telling Jose “your team ****ing stinks”
OVER THE HILL Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 Tasty looking game coming up tonight West Ham v Stoke. If only both teams could lose.
OldNick Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 Jay Rodriguez apparently caught on camera telling Jose “your team ****ing stinks”I didn't think Jrod was that type of person.
benjii Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 What result do people want tonight then? Stoke, played 33, points 27. WHU, played 32, points 34. Fixtures: Stoke - Burnley (h), Liverpool (a), Palace (h), Swansea (a). WHU - Arsenal (a), Man City (h), Leicester (a), Man Utd (h), Everton (h)

So West Ham win, although draw not too bad. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
benjii Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 It's a tricky one. I think probably a WHU win but, perversely, I think I'd prefer a Stoke win to a draw. If WHU then lose the next two, as they may well do, they might be bricking it. A point drags them further to safety and also means it's less likely Stoke will have anything to play for against Swansea.
aintforever Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 I assumed a West Ham win would be best but looking at their run in it might be good to suck them in even if it means dropping below Stoke for a bit.
Dark Munster Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 This would be nice: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/feb/19/brazilian-football-match-abandoned-after-mass-brawl-involving-nine-players
Dusic Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 Stoke have a much better chance of survival than us.
BotleySaint Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 Doesn't really change anything for us. We need 6 pts from the next two games regardless.
simo Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 ****ing Joe Hart! If he goes to the world cup Southgate wants a slap
benjii Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 Squeaky bum time for West Ham. I wonder what odds a Brighton and Swansea double to go down.
Pamplemousse Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 Stoke have Burnley, Liverpool, Palace and Swansea to come I'd say we probably have the easier set of games, plus Stoke have played one more than us.
S-Clarke Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 Stoke have Burnley, Liverpool, Palace and Swansea to come I'd say we probably have the easier set of games, plus Stoke have played one more than us. The fact of the matter is that we now have 1 more team above us. Can't see this being a good thing in any way.
Badger Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 Why is every team apart from us able to make a fight of it ? Les Reed and the most expensively assembled bunch of precious flowers ever known. C^nts.
badgerx16 Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 I'd say we probably have the easier set of games, plus Stoke have played one more than us. How have we coped thus far with our 'easy' games ?
Jonnyboy Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 I'd been totally avoiding the football after the Chelsea result. Just looked at that really was yet another shyte weekend of results for Saints.
Jonnyboy Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 west ham might not get another point this season We can welcome them to our club then.
SuperSAINT Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 Difference between us & Stoke is Stoke look like they can actually defend.
Saints foreva Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 How have we coped thus far with our 'easy' games ? Just a reminder, failed to beat: Newcastle home and away Huddersfield home and away Stoke home and away West Ham away Brighton home and away Swansea at home Burnley at home Crystal Palace at home Watford home and away
Pamplemousse Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 How have we coped thus far with our 'easy' games ? Easier I said, not easy. I don't think you could class any of our games as 'easy'. West Ham equalise.
SuperSAINT Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 Difference between us & Stoke is Stoke look like they can actually defend. Yes! It worked
aintforever Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 Stoke have Burnley, Liverpool, Palace and Swansea to come I'd say we probably have the easier set of games, plus Stoke have played one more than us. I dunno, Burnley and Palace at home is a good chance for them to pick up points.
Shroppie Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 I knew Carroll would equalise Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
benjii Posted 16 April, 2018 Posted 16 April, 2018 Carroll is underrated. I'd take him to the world cup. Impact sub innit.
