Cant really on other results. Havent won enough games and only ourselves to blame. Embarassing that we are 6/7/8 points adrift of teams like Huddersfield, Brighton, Swansea, West Ham. That in itself is laughable

The game against Swansea will be key if we win the game in hand.
I suspect it'll be over by the time we get to that game. We'd have to have a run of championship winning form to stay up now and even then hope Swansea pick up no more points.

That is the game in hand.

I'm treating the Leicester as that game in hand. A must win if ever there was one.

Realistically it ain't going to happen though. Bournemouth to deliver the final nail?

Still plenty to play for, keep playing the way we are and we’ll pick up the points we need.

It's the hope that kills you! It's all over mate, no point stressing over it now.

There isn’t, it’s done and has been for weeks.

We will go out of the cup too with not much difficulty

We probably need ten points from the four games that aren't against City.

Not too much to ask.

Given that the only team we've beaten since November is West Brom, it probably is.

If we win at Leicester, it'll give us a chance and bit of momentum going into Bournemouth.

Christ, they could relegate us. How embarrassing.

It’s happening! They will love it

Indeed. And it is. But we've played the same number of games.

I'm aware of that but am clutching at the final straw. That's all the hope there is. Any team above us now ought to feel fairly safe.

Today was the win we needed for confidence

We likely need 9 pts in our next 4 games to stay up (or have a chance too). Not impossible, all these teams are beatable, but draws will not do it

9 points would be enough IMO. Irrelevant however, the last win of this season will turn out to be WBA away

The long forgotten feeling of reaching 40 points with games to spare while seeing off one of the "top" sides. Wonder when we'll experience that again anytime soon.

I think it's going to be quite a few years before we feel that again in the top flight. Funny thing is during Koemans time I was quite relaxed about games knowing that we could give anybody a game and get a result. Now I'm quite relaxed in the knowledge that we have little chance of winning a game. Talk about polar opposites of expectation, but it just doesn't surprise me when we lose anymore.

Another big team having an off day against a team that isn’t us. ****ing typical.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea had off days against us but we blew both opportunities because we can't defend.

Cup semis are obviously the most important thing for them now. Utd won't win the title, they will finish second so they might as well prepare for next week-end really. Same with Arsenal (for the Europa) Spurs and Chelsea, don't know what happened to Saints....:):)

Had Chelsea played anyone else apart from their semi final opponents they might not have tried too hard to fight back. They had to against us so not to give us a psychological advantage for next Sunday. ****ing typical.

West Brom will, despite going down, at least have the pleasure of beating United. We’ll just have the pleasure of beating West Brom. Twice.
