BotleySaint Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 I'll cop some stick from some but our fans need to take some responsibility for this. Complete and utter delusion if anyone blames the fans. Was it the fans fault to not replace Fonte? Van Dijk? Pelle? To get Redmond as the new Mane? Not replace Wanyama? To stick with our worst ever manager for so long?
Shroppie Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 I hope all the two up front mob are getting ac reality check. Overrun in midfield. Appalling. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
striker Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 Its like watching a childrens match. Kids just getting to the ball and kicking it forward.
SNSUN Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 Absolutely embarrassing. I'm not following the second half. A grand coming my way courtesy of Ladbrokes then. Not a bad consolation prize as consolation prizes go but I'd still trade it all for Saints survival...
washsaint Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 Just got back in....lol. How f***** bad are we? Totally doomed with s***, could not care less players. Sims not even on the bench? Millions wasted on sh**e like Carillo and Lemina. Mass clear out required and play younger players and players who actually care - JWP, Sims, Hesketh, etc. BUnch of c**s, the lot of them
OldNick Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 Where are all the In Les we trust posters on here lol
Dellman Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 At least we are going with two up front...oh er...have either touched the ball?
washsaint Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 Hoedt would probably be OK with a decent partner. **** knows why we don't go 3 at the back when we're this poor defensively. Hoedt is utter garbage. Stephens would be good with a decent partner (i.e Yoshida) next to him. Hoedt was another crap buy
Micky Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 Lolz - I was worried about not getting any Semi final tickets - not worried now Ummm me to, may give that one a miss now. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
OttawaSaint Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 We march on!! Perhaps if we run a bit we might do better?
Chez Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 funny, woeful displays like this normally see the thread filled with hundreds of `manager out' posts, yet today it seems to be the players who are at fault. Said it all season, this side lacks quality throughout and there is only so much a manager can do. That said, Hughes IMO has exposed our substandard centre halves by only playing two in front of them...
Ultimatt Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 Complete and utter delusion if anyone blames the fans. Was it the fans fault to not replace Fonte? Van Dijk? Pelle? To get Redmond as the new Mane? Not replace Wanyama? To stick with our worst ever manager for so long?It was Reeds fault. So re-read my post; why did the fans blame the managers? ALWAYS_SFC Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 my stream has switched to UTD...perhaps i should be glad
Pamplemousse Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 Right if we get a goal in the first ten minutes then maybe they’ll start ****ting themselves.
StrangelyBrown Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 4-4-2 and overrun in midfield. What a surprise. Down we go... Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
lumuah Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 BBC: Posted at 16:03 Southampton have not had a shot so far. Their passing accuracy is down at 65%. They have only had two touches in the West Ham penalty area. Mark Hughes will not be happy.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 Ummm me to, may give that one a miss now. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk Yep stick to the telly, you can switch it off..
Shandy_Top_89 Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 People debating who to blame, can’t I just hate them all?
mrfahaji Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 We left it way too late to get rid of Pellegrino. I wasn't sure Hughes was the right answer, perhaps the only possible answer, but if he was going to save us he needed to figure a few things out and sort them straight away. He clearly hasn't managed it. Even if he does eventually, it's not good enough. He had to do it from today.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 is it too early to start drinking? Think our players started about 9 am
OttawaSaint Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 Lemina will be lucky to get signed by Blackpool let alone Liverpool. Wtf was that?
Toadhall Saint Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 is it too early to start drinking? Nope - sounds like our players started hours ago
Rory Peepa Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 is it too early to start drinking? I’m in France and it’s an hour ahead so that’s good enough for me. Saints - driving me to drink since 1997. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BotleySaint Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 Relegation might actually be the only way for us to make the changes that need to be made at the club. Starting at the top.

All this season has shown is Puel did a decent job with the tools he had but our general down ward trend has a lot to do with the decline in the quality of the squad more than anything else.
Bananaman Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 Whilst I recognise that he is in no way individually culpable for the mess we are in - Redmond really is the most overrated, useless and whiney player I can remember at the club. Weak, negative, bad feet, positionally poor, slow to react. Just really so bad.

Unbelievable Jeff Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 Gallagher, Hesketh, Sims next season at least...

mrfahaji Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 Hard to believe that we went 4-4-2 today after the first half vs Wigan. Presumably Hughes saw that match like the rest of us did?! Also, I thought Romeu was left out vs Wigan so he didn't get booked and could play today... I know he hasn't been great this season, but you can at least rely on him getting himself behind the ball and breaking up the play a bit.
ooh it's a corner Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 However bad we're feeling right now, there is a Chinese gentleman wishing he'd spent £200m on bitcoin rather than this shower of ****e. I wonder what it feels like losing £100m+ with no easy way of getting it back?
OttawaSaint Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 This is ****ing garbage. Still no response, they don’t care.
doddisalegend Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 Didn't many say that once before? Well they where right.. it probably just took a bit longer, going bankrupt and another relegation more than they realised..

Saint-Fred Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 TBF another Les master stroke....saved the club another £1 / 2 million (depending who you believe) on the payment to Hughes!
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 The worrying thing is what he might do next, given the circumstances you've outlined. Especially as he borrowed against the club being in the Premier League...
OttawaSaint Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 So bad that I haven’t even looked at any of the other scores. Pointless, just like Saints. Furious we have given a club in crisis a much needed leg up at our own expense.
Batman Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 TBF another Les master stroke....saved the club another £1 / 2 million (depending who you believe) on the payment to Hughes! We don't win the net spend trophy by accident you know!
Ohio Saint Posted 31 March, 2018 Posted 31 March, 2018 I watched the first half on TV. Ive downgraded them to watch on my PC so I can watch you bunch of twonks. Sadly, you are more entertaining.
