Apparently closing for 'refurbishment'

Wonder if lease is coming to an end?

Every time I have walked past there are no customers in there even with 50% discounts available.

Discounts now up to 70%

Plenty of Kelvin Davis Testimonial scarves available if anyone interested

It is closing for a month for a major refurbishment, I'm not sure why you think that means it is closing down.

Announced last week...

They (like every other club) always do huge discounts towards the end of the season, because very soon the number of people wanting 2017/18 season merchandise will drop sharply.

If that was true why would they be spending money on improving the shop? :?

Seems odd that they feel the need to alter what is a relatively small unit

Only time will tell whether this is indeed a refurb

Closed for refurbishment is standard retail jargon for we are selling up !!

It isn't, because they are actually closed for a refurb. They're upgrading the EPOS and repositioning it (allow for more till space).

One of my regular pubs is "closed for refurb" , Googled it and it is for sale !! also usually applied to food outlets that have failed an inspection but I bow to your superior ITK local knowledge on this .

Why does the size of the unit matter, you change clothes every day (I assume) and you are a lot smaller than the SFC shop in WQ (I assume)

I can assure you the standard retail jargon for we are selling up are, in order

Closing Down Sale

Everything Must Go

Last Week/Day

Repossession Notice pinned to the door.
