What will be the Crowds Reaction

Who said Saints fans were the most pessimistic in the country?

With you here mate - we go into the game on the back of a good win at Barnsly, a good draw at home to reading, and we hardly disgraced ourselves against man utd. We support the team and the manager for the whole game - thats what we can do to help the predicament we are in. We need the spirit of Selhurst park (when we went there and got that win against wimbledon in the greatest of great escape seasons!) - We need to win tomorrow - but battering and picking on young players if it does n't go our way is not the way forward. They formulate the mainstay of the team for the rest of the season so totally deflating their confidence..... but as I said lets deal with that if the situation arises.

the crowds reaction will be joy because we are going to win tomorow

.... and turnaround the run of home results by doubling the number of wins at a stroke?

If we lose against Doncaster, the team will deserve everything that the fans throw at them if their performance has been short of 100%. If they have given their all and still failed, then that should be the catalyst for a full-blooded campaign against the the board, beginning with the call for Poortvliet to go and Lowe to fall on his sword.

If the team manage a win (I won't be holding my breath), then regrettably Lowe and Poortvliet will have bought some extra breathing space. I say regrettably because the sooner abject failure rids the club of this board, the sooner we can unify the fanbase into a campaign of solidarity in pursuit of our survival. It just isn't going to occur under the current board.

Absolutely, but unless someone who has money to bail us out nothing will change. We are skint with a third division manager playing a lot of kids in the team because that is all we can afford, whoever is running the club will have the same problems without the revenue we so need. Anyway, long overdue a home win, today it will happen :D Enjoy the game if you can.

Much shrugging of shoulders and acceptance that normal service is resumed after last weeks fortunate win..........there is no plan B........all will continue following defeat today as if nothing is rotten to the core.....as it always does, because there is no option

If we go 2-0 down, ill have a W a N k in the stands, making a mess on the person infront, in an effort to lift my mood. So, If that happens to you (block 42 row U seat 1090), look out, its gonna' get messy. ;)

LOL:smt044

Anyway, if we lose there will be a few people throwing themselves off the Itchen Bridge:(

I,m breaking my boycott tomorrow. If we lose i'm up for a protest outside the reception and needless to say i'll be joining in the anti lowe chants.

But surely Stanley, a man with your principles will be up to protest against the hated Lowe even if we win??? Or are you going to tell me all that changes with one football result???

be if we go 2 down tomorrow?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Lowe's defeatist atitude has permeated down to the fans and ripped out their passion - given current evidence.

Those of us going today expect defeat.

The Northam has lost its heart. Until it regains it the ground will fill with bruised and battered diehards who have given up.

Sorry state of affairs at SMS...

still if we go 2 up... we might see a different story!

Its all going off a bit apparently,Northam trying to pitch invade and JP in altercations with fans.

Fights in three of the stands.

An attempted pitch invasion.

People trying to get in the Directors box.

The corporates going mental.

Stewards run ragged.

The death of SFC, it's tearing itiself apart.

All of it sounds like a repeat of history. RL never changes in his utter disrespect and even disgust for the fans.

Chap on Radio Hampshire stating fans having a proper punch up in the Northam, apparently between fans chanting "Lowe out" and others that disagreed with this viewpoint.

That happened in the Itchen too! Sorry but some old bloke saying we should support the team instead of singing anit lowe songs. Well sorry, Saints have had my support for the whole of this season and now it is time

Was a hell of a lot more entertaining then what was happening on the pitch.

well you got your answer

and it gives me no pleasure what so ever

what hurts is not the losing but the fact that even my eldest lad who is 21 and been going since he was 5 said in the car on the way home "dad i do not think i will bother to come home from uni for the next home game"

As we have the most apathetic ,sit on hands bunch of supporters the reaction will be nothing except acceptance.

The club deserves a more reticent and less acceptive following.

Not any more. I went today as i could sense todays game would be pivotal. You could taste the hatred the fans have towards Lowe.

First thing I've got wrong about this whole saga since last summer.

Apologies to the Northam.

The corner has been turned... and its now going to really get unpleasant at SMS.
