norwaysaint Posted 6 March, 2018 Share Posted 6 March, 2018 What are your top five things to moan about at the moment, be it particular players, formation, tactics, staff, food, fans, stadium, transfer policy, whatever? southamptonfc Posted 6 March, 2018 Share Posted 6 March, 2018 Just 1pt above the relegation zone. Players like Tadic and Redmond seem very short on confidence. Defense pales in comparison to the days when we had Fonte + Somebody. Have quality players like Gabbi on the bench when at home against the likes of Stoke Not sure if the new owners have the first clue about running a football club. John B Posted 6 March, 2018 Share Posted 6 March, 2018 The whingeing fans I realise the team has not performing well for nearly two years now but constant abuse of the manager does not help to get points. The owner who seems to have very little interest in the club which seems to have led to the players not performing to the same level as players from other clubs in the relegation zone. The attacking forwards who are dire and are not performing in anyway near their potential which may or may not be caused my the manager but them and other players make too many errors which are not the fault of the manager. Leadership as AK says above The club seems to be producing Championship Level players and not PL level ones With little fight or luck I feel we will be relegated which will finally kill the Joke that SFC are a team that will be in the CL

Manuel Posted 6 March, 2018 Share Posted 6 March, 2018 Lack of attacking intent in formation Lack of attacking intent when on the ball (too slow to go forward due to lack of options re point 1) Midfielders instinctively tapping it back to whence it came without considering a turn and run Winning nothing in the air Not identifying intelligent runs - being too slow to cross or pass forward Most of those are closely linked to each other, but you see where I'm coming from. vectraman Posted 6 March, 2018 Share Posted 6 March, 2018 1) safety first totally boring tactics for 2 seasons at home 2) two successively boring, defensive managers 3) we always go cheap and unemployed when we hire a manager - get what we pay for 4) board not realising out attacking options are ****e for 2 years 5) downgrade of squad quality for two years, replacing quality with meh. Eg we’ve gone from fab defence to crap defence.
gordonToo Posted 6 March, 2018 Share Posted 6 March, 2018 Senior Management for - failing to adequately replace Pelle, Mane, Font & van Dyke. - sacking Claude Puel before a suitable replacement was lined up - awarding long contracts so called key players that rapidly became the opposite - and generally behaving in a manner bereft of any vision or ambition
