Misssaint93 Posted 31 January, 2018 Posted 31 January, 2018 I am a primary school teacher (year 6). I don't let children visit the toilet during lesson time. Would you have a problem with this rule for your child?

Would you have a problem with this rule for your child? Not normally, but my son used to have almost zero warning of needing the toilet. He even took medication for a while. Something he grew out of, but later than year 6.

Would you have a problem with this rule for your child? Assuming this isnt a wind up, not if the same rule applied to the teachers too. If the kids end up soiling their pants because they are not allowed to go to the loo when they need to then so should the adults if that is the rule.
hypochondriac Posted 1 February, 2018 Posted 1 February, 2018 I knew someone of thy age who used to get bladder infections and had some kidney problems. I would assume in those circumstances a restriction like that would be unreasonable.
Dimond Geezer Posted 1 February, 2018 Posted 1 February, 2018 I wouldn't stop young kids using the loo, but I would stop teachers posting on football forums at 9.11am on a Wednesday.

Ohio Saint Posted 1 February, 2018 Posted 1 February, 2018 Based on the foolish assumption that this is a real question from a real teacher. If you stopped children from going to the crapper during lesson time, then yes. I would have an objection. After I objected, I would then hunt you down and break your legs. Fortunately, you are just a troll.

rallyboy Posted 2 February, 2018 Posted 2 February, 2018 That is going to get messy. If I was a kid in that school I'd want to sit in the shallow end of the classroom.
Winnersaint Posted 2 February, 2018 Posted 2 February, 2018 We had a phantom crapper at the first school I worked at in Reading. Used to get in at evenings and weekends and leave little gifts in desk drawers!.
scotty Posted 2 February, 2018 Posted 2 February, 2018 I'd say this thread was a strong candidate for shifting to the muppet show.

Weston Super Saint Posted 3 February, 2018 Posted 3 February, 2018 Yes. God forbid I come into your school through my line of work. Caretaker?
