But what happened to him, in fact do not recall ever seeing him at SMS.

thats a good question, he wrote an excellent book on the Saints as well

I believe he's a safety steward at The Chapel End.

I went to school with him if that helps. Seriously though wasn’t he stewarding at the rose bowl.

Havent seen him at last few games but regularly saw him stewarding at the Chapel end until recently

 

Remember him (playing the bagpipes?) at a supporters protest meeting at the old Polygon Hotel many years ago

 

Also bumped into him later when he worked as a Groundsman at the Sports Centre
