Gorgiesaint Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Sunday Supplememnt just reported he's been sacked by Watford. CHDAJFU? Lot's of people on here wanted him so...
James Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Les - go and get him now. The fact Pellegrino is still here looks even more ridiculous now.
eurosaint Posted 21 January, 2018 Author Posted 21 January, 2018 News broke on Sky a few minutes ago !
Heisenberg Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Wow great timing..... Go get him NOW Les!!!! Watford are insane. With that squad they should be bottom 3
LGTL Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Makes our backing of the current idiot even more pathetic.
5string Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Grab 'im! Maurice, off you go, son. Theo's got some bin bags you can use. Maaarcooo, how are ya, mate?! Now, here's what you gotta do....
Window Cleaner Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Wow great timing..... Go get him NOW Les!!!! Watford are insane. With that squad they should be bottom 3 Perhaps it's over more than just results. Caught talking to another club or something.
Bad Wolf Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Wow great timing..... Go get him NOW Les!!!! Watford are insane. With that squad they should be bottom 3 No they shouldn't. They've got some very good players particularly in attack.
LGTL Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Has anyone read the article from Watford? Blaming an "unwarranted approach from a premier league rival" .....
Wimborne_saint Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 They basically blame everton for the whole thing in their statement! "This has been a difficult decision and one not taken lightly. The Club is convinced the appointment of Silva was the right one and had it not been for the unwarranted approach by a Premier League rival for his services we would have continued to prosper under his leadership. The catalyst for this decision is that unwarranted approach, something which the Board believes has seen a significant deterioration in both focus and results to the point where the long-term future of Watford FC has been jeopardised."
Micky Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Just the three threads so far, any advance on three.... Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
Saint Matty 76 Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Head turned since Everton interest apparently. Get him in immediately, no more “nobody better available”.
Heisenberg Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Perhaps it's over more than just results. Caught talking to another club or something. Broken promises over transfer fees saying a few on Twitter. Has to be more than results. Watford were favourites for relegation and he has them in 10th.
eurosaint Posted 21 January, 2018 Author Posted 21 January, 2018 Apparently he was seen as arrogant within the club and had ‘lost the dressing room’ ! According to the scribes on Sunday Supplement !
westmidlandsaint Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Did they not block him from taking the Everton job not long ago. They would wait for compensation if someone was interested now.
beatlesaint Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Has anyone read the article from Watford? Blaming an "unwarranted approach from a premier league rival" ..... Everton a few months back, they have been awful since then
SuperSAINT Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Throws his toys out of the pram / Loves Everton. Ticks all of our boxes.
Lighthouse Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 I was undecided about him in summer and remain so, however I am decided in my opinion of MoPe. Get him in!
LGTL Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Can we sack Pellegrino before the game and let Silva take charge please?
austsaint Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Has it ever happened? A Manager sacked and re-employed by a rival Club within a week or so?
Pamplemousse Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Having taken Hull down last season, he was taking Watford down too. And yet our moronic fans want this fraud to take over, having just been taught a lesson in management by Claude Puel. If he comes in, relegation would be guaranteed.
beatlesaint Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 If he comes in, relegation would be guaranteed. like it is now you mean
davefoggy Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Can we sack Pellegrino before the game and let Silva take charge please? :D:D
Pamplemousse Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 like it is now you mean Sack Pellegrino by all means. But let’s not forget that our own dreadful manager tactically outwitted Silva in the first half. We really don’t want someone like him at the club.
austsaint Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Having taken Hull down last season, he was taking Watford down too. And yet our moronic fans want this fraud to take over, having just been taught a lesson in management by Claude Puel. If he comes in, relegation would be guaranteed. You would rather sink into the Championship with Pellegrino?
SuperSAINT Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Timelines? :suspicious: Can't imagine he'd want revenge on Watford in a few days time?
James Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Having taken Hull down last season, he was taking Watford down too. And yet our moronic fans want this fraud to take over, having just been taught a lesson in management by Claude Puel. If he comes in, relegation would be guaranteed. Your hatred of Silva is becoming slightly irrational. He's clearly a vastly superior manager to Pellegrino and that's all I care about. Claude Puel is now the manager of Leicester City and so is irrelevant to how any prospective Saints managers compare.
whelk Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Sack Pellegrino by all means. But let’s not forget that our own dreadful manager tactically outwitted Silva in the first half. We really don’t want someone like him at the club. Only you don’t but you have become a troll
benjii Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Silva is probably better than MPell (a turd in a sock would be) but long-term I wouldn't want him here.
Pamplemousse Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Your hatred of Silva is becoming slightly irrational. He's clearly a vastly superior manager to Pellegrino and that's all I care about. Claude Puel is now the manager of Leicester City and so is irrelevant to how any prospective Saints managers compare. I don’t hate him, but he’s taken one club down and been sacked from another. He isn’t a good football manager. Our board already decided that thankfully in the summer, so no chance of us going for him.
Lighthouse Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Sack Pellegrino by all means. But let’s not forget that our own dreadful manager tactically outwitted Silva in the first half. We really don’t want someone like him at the club. Trying to think how many Watford players I'd take in our squad. Doucoure, Richarlison, possibly Gray... there's not much else I'd envy.
Saint-Fred Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Wow warlord don't mess around do they? How many managers is that now?
Pamplemousse Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Only you don’t but you have become a troll Posting an unpopular opinion isn’t trolling. If you’re unwilling to debate then that says more about your lack of intelligence than it does mine.
sadoldgit Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Sack one failing manager and replace him with another?
whelk Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Posting an unpopular opinion isn’t trolling. If you’re unwilling to debate then that says more about your lack of intelligence than it does mine. Bless. I think you just like the attention.
Yozzman Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 You guys have got to kidding, he has had 2 terrible runs in consecutive seasons. MP might not be good but Silva is not the answer.
cloggy saint Posted 21 January, 2018 Posted 21 January, 2018 Let's hope we don't end up with him, his record in England is poor.
