Greenridge Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 Not too many outstanding candidates. PEH.
SKD Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 Not sure any deserve it, but you'd have to say Austin. without his goals we would be well and truly ****ed!

hypochondriac Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 Hojbjerg or Austin if we had to pick now. I don't think anyone else has played particularly well with the exception of Lemina before his injury.
doddisalegend Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 This season trying to pick player of the season is like trying to pick which STD you like to have. You don't want to pick any of them in the end you pick the least bad one.. Austin
mrfahaji Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 Just for his consistency, has to be Redmond. I feel like PEH has done well over the last month or two, but didn't play much early on. Yoshida has had a lot of excellent games, but then also cost us a few goals/points. Cedric was doing ok until his injury, I'd say he has probably had more 7/10 games than anyone else. We really are scraping the barrel with this aren't we? Shows how bad we've been that not a single player has stood out.
Pilchards Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 A toss up between Forster and VVD.
Saints4Prem Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 Josh Sims - It is obvious if we stick to this Forum's rules any player who has been injured / not played would have made all the difference !
Saint Garrett Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 Would expect the fans to vote for someone like Stuart Taylor if we get relegated. Hojbjerg deserves it right now, and he's played what, 8 games?
trousers Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 Agree that it would have to be Hojbjerg as things stand
Colinjb Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 Hojbjerg. The only player to improve under the current idiot/manager.

LuckyNumber7 Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 Austin Hoedt Hojbjerg In that order. Would have Hoj above Hoedt but he hasn't really played enough games yet, although you could probably say the same of Austin. Not exactly spoiled for choice are we. I thought it was funny e.g. Redmond is consistently cack and consistently looks like a toddler told they won't be having the chocolate bar they grabbed at the till
saint1977 Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 Hojbjerg. How many games has he started? Desperation stuff. Not many, but then nor has Charlie either and they are the two obvious ones. JWP could come into the picture if he keeps getting goals but not pulling up trees either. Now if it was prize of ceramic minature toilet on a plinth for the worst player, we'd be spoilt for choice! Perhaps we should virtually award one on behalf of SWF at the end of the season to let the players know much we think of them...

saint1977 Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 No star players left. No standouts. Shows you how far Romeu has regressed under this idiot though, was definately a standout last year although less competition even then than previous season. I think his comments in the press - clever as didn't directly criticise MP but left us to read between the lines - showed what he thought. I think he's one of the few that cares as well. Romeu was quite good last year but we have to remember he too struggled for games here when he signed as he was in Wanyama's shadow.
Dellman Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 Yoshida for me, he fills whatever gap the manager wants filled and always gives 100% great club man and there aren't many of those in the current shower. He will be captain in the championship, and a good one.

benjii Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 Austin has been the most reliable performer by a country mile. Before his injury Lemina was looking like a shoe-in but something weird is up with him lately.
SNSUN Posted 16 January, 2018 Share Posted 16 January, 2018 The Mickey Evans/ Marian Pahars equivalent signing that helps keep us up this season. He gets it. Hopefully. Currently slim pickings. (Not the Blazing Saddles actor.) Austin I guess.
