Very impressed by what he says about running a football club. Talks about selling players but making sure you reinvest to make your side better. Says Liverpool are doing it, but Arsenal haven't over the years. For a money man he seems more focuses on the ethos of a club and improving things on the field, rather than the balance sheet (which he is responsible for so won't lose control). Probably out of our league, but would be a great MD down here.
Turkish Posted 9 January, 2018 Posted 9 January, 2018 IIRC several media sources linked us with him when he Cortese left. Used to be MD of Liverpool but left after Gillette and Hicks arrived, was then at Chelsea for a short time. I've heard him speak before and he's very impressive.

I thought he seemed a bit hyper & OTT last night.
